Tiggsy Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Do those other titles matter? Thanks for your interest though. If you love the beaver, they matter! Sorry, don't want to get too far off topic though. Quote
hrkac Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Yep, there really shouldn't be a priority on making sure these teams play every year. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Yep, there really shouldn't be a priority on making sure these teams play every year. But the U of M really, really cares about the other programs in Minnesota! The DQ Cup is just way too prestigious for us to lose! Yeah, and pigs started flying in Iowa today. Quote

Godsmack Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 All of this line shuffling talk concerns me. Do our opponents (not just Minnesota) experience this with their rosters on a weekly basis? Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 All of this line shuffling talk concerns me. Do our opponents (not just Minnesota) experience this with their rosters on a weekly basis? No but UND has had no choice with parks and Macmillan being inserted in January along with Rocco away in Russia. Now they have pretty much everyone rolling so hopefully line combos will start to shape up Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 scoffing at what the U of M has done for hockey in that state and for the other programs in that state is laughable. The U of M is only concerned about the U of M and that is it. They have never cared about the other D-I programs in the state until now, when they have big holes in their schedule and when they need a clever excuse not to schedule UND. What is laughable is that you believe what they tell you. Quote

Actually UMD wanted to play the Gophers to open Amsoil but the Gophers had the Classic already scheduled. So they had to settle for UND. Quote

FIRE HELMET GUY #26 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 and UMD settled for a asskicking!!! That they did, and a subpar arena with cheap glass. But the delay did allow us to go to the Sports Garden for a few extra beers. Quote
Fetch Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 U folks need to take a break & watch the Wild scrimmage Quote
siouxforce19 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 scoffing at what the U of M has done for hockey in that state and for the other programs in that state is laughable. What would be laughable would be you thinking you're fooling anyone with your screen name here... 1 Quote
UNDSiouxFan Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 So fellow Sioux fans, does anyone know if there will be a webcast of these games available? I don't have cable and would love to get an online stream going so I can watch the games! It doesn't look like the UND sports webpage will have one, so any other options? Quote
Slap Shot Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 What would be laughable would be you thinking you're fooling anyone with your screen name here... Because objectivity is a foreign concept? AZ is sucking up to them for whatever reason... I met Jup and sat next to him at the Final Five, nice enough guy. To say that their podcast is good, I suppose if you're a Gopher fan, yeah they're "remotely" Entertaining... So you don't read your blog do you? Quote
siouxforce19 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Because objectivity is a foreign concept? So you don't read your blog do you? What does objectivity have to do with a Gopher fan having a screen name with "Sioux" in it? Oh yeah, nothing. It's a ploy and nothing more. Gopher fans are not objective when it comes to the Sioux. Sioux fans are not objective when it comes to the Gophers. Easy as that. Quote
Jeremy_und2004 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Anyone know the easiest way to watch the games online? I do not have access to Fox Sports North. Quote
BeazSioux Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I believe the game notes stated that there was no webcast. Quote
Goon Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I believe the game notes stated that there was no webcast. If I am not mistaken I think that you can watch the game on the FSN webpage. 1 Quote
shortbusguy Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 FSN used to do their director's cut thing online but I can't remember them really promoting that much this season so I'm not sure if they are still doing it. Quote
J.B. Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Yeah all I've seen them promote this year is the little bar code that appears on the screen and you can watch highlights on the smartphone. Quote
bigskyvikes Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Actually UMD wanted to play the Gophers to open Amsoil but the Gophers had the Classic already scheduled. So they had to settle for UND. This is NOT true, I have a relative in the scheduling dept and UND was their first choice and got it. Nice try d-bag... Quote

I've never seen Fire Helmet Guy once be disrespectful on this board. He even added a wink to his post, not sure why you felt the need to call him a name. 2 Quote
