bincitysioux Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 That's the same way the Betty looks on Midco broadcasts because of the vantage that the cameras shoot from (west side shooting east). Because we are local we know that the west side seats fill up fairly decently, at least, in the lower deck. The other side is usually pretty sparse, and the students zones are atrocious. Granted one of the games I saw was against Northern Colorado and the students were gone already. Good point. I believe SUU's facility is also quite a bit larger than the Sioux Center. The student section at our basketball games is almost always atrocious, whether or not they are on holiday break. Quote

the green team Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Idaho St goes to Cedar City and gets a win over a team that pushed Weber. This is a crazy league. On top of that Northern Colorado a preseason top 3 pick, has won 1 conference game, unfortunately against us. I have a feeling that there is still going to be some more crazy happenings over the next several weeks. Should be entertaining to follow. We may not have a shot at a top 2 finish but after that I still think its a pick em, even at 2 and 4, we have a shot at making the conference tournament. Quote
bincitysioux Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 There is a ton of ball left to be played. Montana St. is also quite a surpise so far this year, as they were not expected to do much. I agree, that after Weber and Montana, it is wide open to see how the chips will fall. Idaho St also has a win over UNC. Next week will be very important for the Sioux......... Quote

WeAreNorthDakota Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 A 5-way tie for 4th place. This is gonna be a really fun 2nd half of the season. Quote
bincitysioux Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 That road win we got at Idaho St. could end up being quite significant for determining the playoff field............. Quote
bincitysioux Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Grizzlies beat the Bobcats in OT tonight. It was a heck of a good game. Cats led the entire way until the Griz hit a three with 3.4 seconds left to send it to OT where they took control.............. Quote
sioux2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Montana tonight at home against Montana State hit a 3 pointer with 3 seconds to go to send the game to overtime. Montana then went on to win in overtime. Weber also struggles at home for a win. This league is crazy on who beats who on any given night. Quote
bincitysioux Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 We actually got help from NAU tonight as well as they beat Idaho St. North Dakota all alone in 3rd place as of tonight............. bincitysioux Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 does the root sports have a game of week for basketball or no? No. When the football deal was announced, they said that Root would also do up to 12 basketball games, but they've only done 2......... Quote
