westsidesioux Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Haha...I knew exactly where you were going with this! Keep an eye on the QB's in this game...Hunter Braaten from W-N-G is going to be fun to watch, and he's only a junior! Quote
Wilbur Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 LETS GO SIOUX! LETS GO SIOUX! The Bison have never won at the Alerus center. Lets hope that trend continues. Quote
airmail Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I have no dog in this fight - but I'm cheering for the Sioux! Quote
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 One of my good friends went to Westhope and I believe has a relative who will be playing in this game. Go Sioux!! Quote

siouxforeverbaby Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 GO WNG SIOUX!!! So excited for them! Quote
Wilbur Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 The brother of former SIOUX national champion Tom Philion coaches Hazen......I'm sure they'll still all be cheering for the Sioux. Quote
NDSU grad Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I really don't think WNG stands a chance in this one, but that's what everybody said their first three playoff games too. Quote
darell1976 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I looked at a map and the school is NOT on the rez so how come they can be the Sioux? The closest rez to them is the Turtle Mountain band of Chippewas. Quote

Personal responsibility by each school. Seems like a pretty simple concept to me! Quote

Personal responsibility by each school. Seems like a pretty simple concept to me! Blasphemy. Its hostile and abusive. They'd better make them wear uniforms that don't say Sioux on them, or the Alerus center may collapse. Quote

Hayduke Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 The GF school board must have had some pressure to change all the Indian nicknames of their schools. Naw, it was just a ploy to get Corban Knight to come to UND... Quote
darell1976 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Sioux-Bison game is on KVLY now. Funny how the Bison (Hazen) colors are green and white. Too bad the Sioux wasn't left in the end zones. Westhope would think its a home game. Quote
sprig Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Hazen (the Bison). Sioux defense looked much like this year's UND defense. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Hazen (the Bison). Sioux defense looked much like this year's UND defense. perhaps a little worse. Oh well, Congrats to the Bison! and Congrats to the Sioux on a wonderful playoff season to that point. Quote
