wsdSIOUXfalls Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Dell is skating behind the net a little too often for my nerves..... Sioux PP coming up Quote
Wilbur Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Power Play for the Sioux here. Hopefully this settles the pace down a bit. UND can't play at this pace the whole game.... Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Tripping on Gaarder because the Gopher player fell down. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 PP for UMN, oh sorry....4 on 4 for a little bit. Quote
bcblues Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 So much for staying out of the penalty box. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 PP over for UMN and they go right back on the PP. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Final minute of play in the first. Quote
wsdSIOUXfalls Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Hakstol doesn't look pleased. ready to have a little talk with the guys... Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 End of 1 and the score is still 1-0 UMN Quote
gfhockey Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Just me or does dell look really shakey and not seeing the puck at all Quote
pstar Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Fantastic play by both teams. Great period to watch. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Tough goal given up by Dell, but that was a riser and a rocket. Not too bad of a period, gotta stay out of the box though! Quote
jodcon Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 Not surprised to be down after 1, I figured the Gophers would come out for blood (not Blood) early. Need to finish killing this penalty and keep pushing, we've had quite a few good shots already. Quote
sprig Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Tough goal given up by Dell, but that was a riser and a rocket. Not too bad of a period, gotta stay out of the box though! I think Lammy got a stick on it and caused the crazy upward curve. Gaarder looked like a penalty live, but replay showed it definitely was not, either a dive or the Gopher leaning on his stick when Gaarder lifted it. Both teams going well, good game so far. Quote
RedFrog Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Well played period by both teams. They were fortunate to get the goal, but we are getting chances. We'll bury ours and this game will go down to the wire. Agreed that those were 2 weak calls v UND, we'll see if they call em the same way against the Gophers. Quote

Looked like the Gopher lost his balance but the way it happened made it look like a penalty, bad luck more than a dive I think. Quote
808287 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I thought the Sioux had the better chances, and if point shots are all they can score with I'll take those all night. It hit Mario's skate and deflected in. Kill this penalty and take it to 'em! Let's GO SIOUX!!! Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Start of the second. UMN - 8, UND - 9 from the first Quote
Wilbur Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 What a crazy deflection off of Lamoureax's skate. The shot was an absolute rocket that I guess found the right spot. Period 2.... 2-0 Gophers. Can't leave a guy wide open in front. Quote
