UND withdraws from the MVFC and goes INDY 1AA...

then schedule all road games against 1A schools...ones we can win (see ndac's rough 1a opponents for example)....

then schedule all home games Pioneer League members....

They (ab)used Sac St for operating capital is how it's looking now. 

If the MAC needs members I hope Armacost and Chaves are listening. And if they "need" members the entry fee should be far more reasonable.

The MAC seems about as thrilling as the prospect of Summit League football.   I would never consider the MAC a step up from the MVFC.

If appreciable TV revenue becomes a part of the deal, then the MAC (FBS) would be a step up from the MVFC and UND should pursue. The relationship already in place with some of the schools via hockey should be entertained. Otherwise, from an on the field perspective, I agree; the MAC is essentially the same if not worse than the MVFC.

Legitimate concern, but you'd likely do one home and one road weekday game per season. And they're in November exclusively. Getting a home game Tuesday the week of deer opener would be a decent trade.

I think the MAC did that to get on television and not have to compete with the bigger schools and conferences for television exposure. Boise State did the same thing when they were building their program.
