U2Bad1 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Holy crap, after 1 period? Based on the score updates coming in I thought it was at least part way through 2nd period. Quote
woodbutcher Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Anyone else see the Goofer fan wearing the UND - Un-Named-D-bags shirt? ESPN gave him a nice long shot after UMD's second goal...lol Quote
SiouxScore Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Nice save there. Someone should have told the goalies the game started at 4, because they seemedl like they missed half the period. Quote

You know what's going to happen now right? After the early shelling both goalies will be unconscious and stop everything. Then again... Quote
dakotadan Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Not the 1st period that I was expecting to see. Quote

Yeah more than likely. Anyone catch the Notre Dame player getting interviewed saying they weren't used to these soft calls and would need to adjust to stay out of the box, seems like we are not the only ones who think the ecac is soft. Ole in MSP Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 no one says scoring better then gary thorne. Melrose does not know one ND from another. Thinks ND in this game in North Dakota. The guy is a hak. Quote

They better keep the Duluth PP off the ice, they don't look too good on the PK Quote
Frozen4sioux Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Couple thoughts after the first. Goalies shaky as a jello factory on a fault line Softbgoals and soft refs if anybody sneezes they can expect two minutes. It's nice to see college hockey on espn in hd but I'd rather have Sweeney in the booth Quote
Wilbur Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Can't believe that Notre Dame is going with a 2-1-2 forecheck with the FCC line on the ice.....my gosh, talk about wanting to give up oddman chances. Maybe they thought they'd surprise them by pressing that line in their own end.....Jeff Jackson is wiser than I, he must have something in his back pocket with this. Quote
jodcon Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 Jack in the box. ND going on the PP Everytime I see a Jack-in-the-Box I think of Blood flattening Marvin and it makes me laugh. Made Blood laugh too. Quote

gfhockey Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 UMD with another easy PP goal no one could have stopped that shot tho Quote
jodcon Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 They better keep the Duluth PP off the ice, they don't look too good on the PK What did I just tell you Irish? Quote
jodcon Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 And another penalty on ND, they are rattled right now. Quote
gfhockey Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 And ND goes on the PK again Pretty bad call on sheehan Melrose and thorne arent happy with it either Quote
jodcon Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 ND is terrible about clearing the puck in front of the crease, get it out of there! Quote
