Hmmm. No announcement from UND? No bat signal? Makes me skeptical.

This is for the club hockey team, not the D1 team.

Did anyone ever confirm the 2nd person Jax decomitted? Katie O’Keefe’s interview on Fargo radio indicated 2 people, 1 was Bumgarner.

Interested to see how Zakreski's game transfers over to NCAA:

https://chl.ca/whl-winterhawks/article/2025-nhl-draft-profile-josh-zakreski/

Quote

Winterhawks Head Coach Kyle Gustafson used the left-shot winger in a variety of situations due to his ability to read the play defensively and help shut down opposing teams’ top point producers. His tenacity to win 50-50 pucks, battles along the wall, or chase down a forward on the backcheck, Zakreski possesses a 200-foot game.

Zakreski wore a letter for the Winterhawks as an alternate captain due to his leadership qualities, which were often evident on the ice or in the locker room, helping over a dozen rookies find their footing in the WHL.

Nice interview and article about Zellers:

https://rinksiderhodeisland.com/2025/06/20/will-zellers-is-a-prospect-to-watch-at-bruins-development-camp/

Quote

“His goal-scoring ability is the best I’ve ever been around and I played with Anders Lee here in Green Bay,” said Gamblers coach Patrick McCadden. “It’s uncanny the way he can score.  He can just find the hole and put the puck there, It’s pretty special.

“I kept waiting for him to hit the wall and he just never did. It was incredible how he continued to score consistently over the course of the season.”

A few days after development camp ends on July 3, Zellers will head to North Dakota to begin his freshman year. He’ll be taking an English class and a science class during the summer session.

“It’s great how they have you ease into college, the academic part of it. They give you every tool to be a great student,” Zellers said.

Zellers is on board with the new staff.

“I trust Jacks. He’s a great coach and an even better mentor off the ice. I went (to Grand Forks) a couple of weeks ago just to talk to the new coaches,” he said.

Man, that trust for Jax is such a big deal. We're doing some good, good things right now.

Agreed.
Can't wait to see who the final two pieces will be!
Has the foundation already for being a very good team this fall.
