Good penalty kill except that they couldn't clear the zone for 1:35. They kept the puck to the perimeter for the most part. Then they put on some good pressure, and LaPoint drew a boarding penalty.

Given, I have a different perspective on the game since I was there last night and tonight I'm watching on TV, but I think this period tonight was better than any of the three periods last night. Obviously it was a good 2nd period last night scoring-wise, but I think there was much better pressure and better defensive play in this first period

Yeah I'm thinking it isn't too serious. Since the announcers say he was practicing with the team and they said he looked just fine.

Probably just playing on the safe side like when they had Hextall not play in one game. I'm guessing he's just dinged/banged up.
