Since the game isn't on Fox College Sports, would they be able to pick it up at Sensers? Just checking to see if anybody would know. Also, is there a way we could email somebody to request that it be on FCS central since the gophers will already be FSN north or don't they do stuff?

Thanks for the heads up! I thought that Rocky Mountain channel had all of the games on. Too bad Fox has the same game on two channels. It would be nice if there was a way to see if they could add that Saturday game as I know many people would want to watch. I just don't know who to contact and if that would even work in showing interest to get the game on.

here's the breakdown:

friday night:

comcast: 723

directv: 683

dish: 414

* comcast and directv require you have their sports packs as part of your cable/satellite package, not sure how dish does it

saturday night:

not on tv, but you can access the du live video feed here: http://www.denverpioneers.com/liveEvents/l...DB_OEM_ID=18600

* i believe you have to pay for a one month membership, which is around $10

Just to clarify a few things....

DU is anything but poor, folks. The DU endowment is over $300 million, almost twice UND's endowment of $178 million. The school has plenty of money.

The problem is DU sits in a very oversaturated sports media market with multiple pro and college teams, and still has one of the top TV schedules in the country. The reason DU's FSN games are not on Saturday' in the fall is becuase of college football contractual obligations for FSN-RM. FSN-RM does broadcast all DU Saturday home games after Christmas, once the college football season is over, as well as the Friday games (all season).

In other words, had DU played UND after X-Mas in Denver, the Saturday game would be televised. You can still watch the Saturday game on your computer either through DU or UND, which will be picking up the FSN generated feed. The coverage level is the same with FSN camera crews, replays, etc, just online.

According to the schedule on fightingsioux.com, a video webcast of the game will be on Sioux Xtra Saturday night.

That's good news, it looks like we won't have to pay extra for it like some thought earlier too.

Um, yeah, that'd be sarcasm, but thanks for showing up and beating your chest - really quite impressive.

If it is on webcast, can't they hook a computer up to a television somehow to show the game? I thought that with this age of technology there would be a way of making it work if cameras are on the game.

Cheesemover must have enough football games on television tonight at Sensers if he doesn't need Sioux hockey fans in attendance. It might be illegal though to order the webcast and then show it throughout a bar.

Rumors made it sound like that's what they were going to do, no clue about legality of it.

talked to Cheese and it sounds like he's missing a piece of equipment to make it work. so as of know Sensors will not be broadcasting but i'll post if anything changes.

Husker football is on tonight, so they'll have a good crowd.
