We have seen guys like Morelli, Archibald, Ward, Zombo, Sandelin, and Slukynsky have really nice college careers while other legacy guys we have recruited have either not made it to campus or have had underwhelming careers. 1 Quote

Your pool of legacies has survivorship bias. Belfour, Howard and Eades come to mind as legacies whose kids we didn't recruit and then didn't pan out. Watch Howard have a breakout year at Augustana after he reads this! Ward committed really early and stuck to it after more success and development. Can't speak to many others. Quote

I suppose a lot of them, if not all were a wait and see thing, but you would think the communication would be there so they wouldn’t commit so soon to maybe have a chance to play for their dad’s Alma Mater. Probably easier said than done, but definitely missed on the second chance with Slukynsky. Quote
brianvf Posted April 20 Posted April 20 We saw him do this a few times in a UND uni. Good to see him keep it rolling at the next level: 4 Quote

I have watched quite a few of his games(AHL and NHL) over the last 3 years(his dad is one of my best friends). He has probably played 4 of the top 10 games he has had in his career when the lights are the brightest and the pressure is the highest, has been fun to watch! #restrictedfreeagent #contracttime #paythatmanhismoney 1 7 Quote
