Sioux choked that game away. 5.4 seconds away from winning the series. Very idiotic penalty by VandeVelde to make in OT. Tech took advantage and capitalized. Sioux better get there crap together tomorrow or we're going to be on the outside looking in come Final Five time.

Well, I hope everybody that has been talking about how terrible is to win are happy now that our team has finally lost. Absolutely pathetic. That is the worst choke job I've ever seen by a Sioux hockey team. Hopefully, we put up a touchdown on Tech tomorrow, but that doesn't help much right now.

This one hurt in so many ways! Hopefully the boys come ready to play a full 60 minutes of hockey tomorrow night. Would love to see them come out and pi$$ pound Tech. We need to take the old mo' back with a vengence!

VV goes for hooking. And it was hooking.

Greg Shepherd is going to have to talk to THul. Everyone in the WCHA knows that we play "Everything's legal" OT in this league.

In my opinion, let them play hockey ...pretty weak call imo. That being said, that was not what cost the Sioux the game. My biggest fear is this team needs to learn to put a game away when they have a lead.

on a slightly different note, does anyone know what time the game will be tomorrow, or know when they will announce that? I have tickets =D

I thought they said 7:07 p.m.

Yup. The valuable lesson here: The game is over when the buzzer sounds and 0's are on the clock.

When you have a power play to end the game, you play to score. Let the opposing coach complain about running up the score. Our job is to win the game, not be sensitive to the feelings of the opposition.

So, yeah.

That was a terrible loss. Stop prancing around in front of the net and SHOOT THE PUCK!

God, they screwed up a bunch of good scoring chances tonight, without a shot on goal. And, playing not to lose = losing by not playing to win.

More aggressive tomorrow. Less futzing around in the opponent zone, and more shots on goal are needed.

Can't argue at all - pp at the end of the game with you up 1 should be like blood in the water...finish the damn thing off and we are on to next week!
