  1. Talent wise we are similar to Idaho. (Idaho by the way is no world beater, was smoked by Washington State by 50) Idaho held MSU to 105 rush yards for a 2.8 yard average. (insert Rudolph joke here) Advantage F'n Hawks as our run D is better than Idahos. With our improved secondary, please be healthy Reyes, we shouldn't be a total push over against their pass game, either. Idaho rushed for 225 yards, 6.4 yard average against MSU. Bryant only ran for 84 yards, but passed for 368. Seems to me we should be able to move the ball. What success will the B-cats have passing is the key to this game. 2 picks by us and the cats are toast. 300 yards in the air and we are toast. Roll Tribe 31 - 18 good guys.
  2. I actually did vote for Montana St., before I voted against them, then decided to go there.
  3. Kinda fair....the pass play was right away, was exciting, showed how effective it could be. We had to wait around all game long......and into overtime before the 25 yard run. So for the entire game in regulation, running the ball was 3.73 average. That's why I looked at it that way.
  4. Fou Polataivao and his grandmother, the original bearded lady-
  5. To take this a step further, 6 pass plays for 50 yards = 8.33 yard average 23 run plays for 107 yards = 4.65 yard average without the 25 yard TD scamper (so for most of the game) 22 run plays for 82 yards = 3.73 yard average Passing looks good on 1st down and that's at a 50% completion. On 1st down, should be near 75% completion especially coming from run heavy team. Why?? Cause teams are not expecting it and we don't need long yardage, short and medium passes will do.
  6. Labat is still looking for his shoulder pads as they were torn off on that play. Total horse-crap missing that call as the ball floats over the middle for a TD.
  7. Let's be clear. Around 11:00 minutes in the 4th quarter the winning student was announced. In the next 60 seconds I estimate 60% of the students left. It was humiliating, shallow, and disrespectful IN MY OPINION.
  8. I think there is an equation for it. B10 - OSU = MAC + W/hotter cheerleaders
  9. I battled the "entitlement" crowd before concerning players and guaranteeing their scholarships.....Yada Yada Yada. For the most part I don't think they are bad people, they are just wired differently than I am. Don't allow them to shout you down. We all want what's best for UND, and views vary, not a big deal.
  10. When they are winning.......which has been a lot lately.
  11. You gotta like the way Jade is playing and rotating in. We have good players and depth at Outside Backer, that's for sure.
  12. What?? "Look Timmy, a nut hatch, or maybe that is a chickadee, could be a sparrow...." "Dad, this sucks, can we watch football now?"
  13. Are you angry and insecure all the time?? (Yes-) It was said from an Iowa paper or insider form. They are questioning their own team after SU pushed them around. You should be proud of that.
  14. Can we get a Bobcat to give us a preview of their team? Preferably less arrogant than the coyote fan last week- I believe both the O and D is different than last year.
  15. Productive offensive identity.....to clarify.
  16. We need to move the pocket, roll out, PA and roll the pocket to change things up some times. Our base pass block pocket is too tight and too predictable. Keaton throws well on the run. I feel our offensive identity is still MIA this season.
  17. Paul Harvey is the new voice of the MVC. Most of his show is on SU, then little on, "The rest of the conference". Good day-
  18. From Iowa- is Iowa a good team or a 2-3 team in their last 5 games? In those 5- Beat a MAC team and Iowa St. Grinded but lost a snooze Fest to Michigan St., were man handled by Stanford, and controlled by SU. Iowa tried playing their style of football, which NDSU plays that same style way better than them.
  19. Good plan, with the loss of Clive maybe some speed at the TE position could loosen things up.
  20. That was Hillarious!! "Bartles on the kick return".........ugh.
  21. Wasn't it Tyus Carter that got out muscled on that play?
  22. 100 % agree with Santiago. When his cheek hit the ground his chest was on the goal line, ball was held on chest.
  23. There will always be calls missed, but when the impact is a touchdown pass the bad refs need to be reviewed.
