I believe the NCAA regionalizes 9-24 seeded games. Then, opens the envelopes and highest bid is home. Pretty simple, we can outbid anyone even with a low seed. 1-8 seeds kick back and are guaranteed to be home for 2nd round. (UNDBIZ sees it different?) NCAA claims they don't open the bids 1st to maximize the $$ on the match-ups.

It matters some because the committee is incompetent and they treat the meeting like a vacation. They care about costs and how the top 24 teams can play as cheaply as possible. So if we win out we need to be at 7/8 in the polls to be seeded. If we drop another game we need to be 20 or better to get in.

We should jump Illinois St, McNeese, and UNI this week, up 3 spots. And Harvard and Cal Poly on style points.......maybe 5 spots??
