  1. The Zapruder film had only slightly more analysis - and all this for flooded streets in GF? I think Critical RAIN Theory is to blame! FIRE ERIC!* (* PS -Don't fire Eric - great guy and a GF treasure.)
  2. Lakes TROLLING?? Replace the "TR" with "AH" and you'd be much more accurate about his preferences:-) The ironic thing is if by some miracle WDAY "wins" any part of the contract and they farm it out to Fox as the "broadcast entity" - Lakes will have to go out and sell UND sports with a straight face or find another job. THAT'S RICH! I don't want UND to change their broadcast partner but I'd LOVE to be in a sales presentation where Lakes has to sell UND - LOL! Latest word is any "delay" is because UND was late (a month late from what they planned) from having their specs for the RFP totally defined and in a row. Details and final presentations are still upcoming - patience, patience, patience.
  3. Interesting...Lithia overall has a horrible reputation in GF. The Toyota dealership is under ok management and they've made amends- probably why Rydell decided to pick them up. Glad they're keeping their employees and management. Lithia Jeep Chrysler is a TRAIN WRECK! No one answers the phone for sales or service ever. I have a company vehicle I wish I could push in a slough because it would be easier than dealing with that craphole dealership. Interesting to see how this turns out...
  4. ALSO Artfest is next weekend in University Park. Used to be down by the river but the last couple years they've had it in U Park and it's been great with the big tree shade and the vendors. Another great local event to support!
  5. Tickets are flying! Only 35 or so on the main floor left mostly singles. A lot in the balcony still available but it will be a sellout by September. We've seen him twice here in GF. He likes college towns and that's cool. We payed $87.50 for floor tickets - more than worth it!
  6. LOL - Hit a JERK! Go back to Bisonville loser
  7. mind your own f*cking business! - like why downtown Fargo has become a dangerous crime sh*thole after 12 o'clock on any given night? Congrats METRO on becoming the weiner city NEXT to Minneapolis for random crime and violence. You're really looking UP!
  8. Patience - there's still a lot of details to work out...
  9. Yeah I've heard that too. Too bad. Rock solid leader at a tough time for his town - he did a hard job very well - not perfect but who could be in that situation. He can always be proud of how he turned a catastrophe into opportunity that now includes a Food Network Star saving an iconic EGF landmark... https://www.grandforksherald.com/business/molly-yeh-officially-announces-new-restaurant-bernies-in-whiteys-underground-building So great to see!
  10. Oh sorry you mistook this thread for the "BISON SOOOPERSTARS - WHERE ARE THAY NOW?" thread on BSville - honest mistake I'm sure. PS - Just nabbed my Jerry Seinfeld tickets for the Fritz in September!!! I hear Fargo media is all agog about ROB SCHNEIDER (rob schneider??) coming to "THE METRO" - way to go LOL! Only big time for THE METRO
  11. Interested and will try it too down the road. Wife and I went to see Maverick on a rainy holiday - 2pm matinee totally sold out and they were running a new show every half hour. Nice to see the theatre biz back! Overhead some campers from the campground saying they were glad there was a theatre and restaurants nearby on a crappy camp day on a holiday weekend. Well done EGF on that whole urban campground concept! One of the most brilliant post-flood moves engineered by former mayor Lynn Stauss. Haven't heard about him for years - anyone know his status?
  12. Simplot workers with pets will have it made in the shade I guess. Thanks for the info
  13. We noticed this the other day too - not the business we expected either and with the odd visual being half a block off the highway. The Mill has establishments near them for the shift workers. Maybe the same thing for Simplot workers? I have no idea
  14. Very cool project and many thanks to Mr. Gisi for an investment for downtown Grand Forks that comes from the heart because he loves this community. It will be an amazing asset - and another building block to the goal of an amazing vibrant downtown.
  15. So he's the Woody Woodpecker of SS??? An instigator? PS - he probably wouldn't hate that nickname because he'd think we're talking about his penis
  16. Think I heard the timeline was early June - stay tuned!
  17. Thank You! Dialing around tonight and found a Midco rebroadcast of an early season game. Alex and Jake? Rock solid broadcast team! Alex has prospects above the regional cable level - CBS Sports likes him a lot so we're lucky to have him. Izzo? ugh! A basement Bison troll. Why would he EVER support UND? Technical coverage? A dozen cams with cooperation from the Ralph - tell me please where it lacks? OR better yet tell me what 'DAY would do better? They wouldn't and couldn't. Graphics, stats and flow with NO spelling errors?? What a shocker! Watch any episode of the local news to see how the kids these days can't proofread or spell to save their lives. Interesting story about Fighting Sioux Sports Properties and how that will affect the rfp???? How will that impact?
  18. a LONG LONG time ago - I remember when they would draw 20,000 people and parking in a field and taking a bus to the show. Nice to see this back! Plan to attend and show some support - the base needs it.
  19. Seems like "American" companies like Hornbachers, Sickies, et al came then bailed out on GF at the first opportunity. !@#$ them! Aldi operates thousands of grocery stores all around the world - they've figured it out. Sure it's not a place you get all the staples all the time but they have great deals at a significantly lower price - and their brands have proven to be very good. Give them a shot. Sure it's a little rough to figure out you have to put a quarter in a slot to "rent" a cart but you get it back at the end. Euro-shopping culture isn't hard - you just have to adapt. We still shop Hugo's for 80% of our groceries but it's nice to have options not generally available to us and at a discount no less.
  20. THIS IS SERIOUS!! The china communist connection means they will be spying on Ikea in Minneapolis and probably recruit players FROM CHINA that will fart excessively and destroy the environment or at least report to their government they were trying to do that.
  21. Don't worry - I'm finalizing plans for a......(WAIT FOR IT)....A New BANK on 167th Avenue South!!! aka Thompson (waiting for development applause????)
  22. Missed this earlier - what he said:-)
  23. That's exactly it - I don't have a problem with building strip malls I have a problem with how they can't fill them. The old Golden Corral is just now starting to get tenants after how many years?
  24. The car wash on 17th and Columbia (Old Hardees) is in the same weird state of construction LIMBO -- nothing happening there either. The strip mall with House of Punjab/Noodles/Erbs and Gerbs has some new construction going on cutting their parking lot in half - guess what it is? ANOTHER STRIP MALL in the least shocking news of all time. Just what GF needs...now with LESS parking for businesses what don't move in. Perfect!
  25. Dallas was a fixture at old Memorial and served UND FB for so many years - sad to hear the news and condolences to his family. He went to school with my Father in Law so he will be sad to hear the news.
