UND coaches will not tell them to go for the ankle In every football game I watch I inevitably see somebody get tackled by an ankle, if they aren't able to completely wrap up high....they slip off and grab onto the ankle and hold on for dear life until somebody else comes over and makes the tackle. if this happens to Wentz, it is not dirty.....it's just football. I don't think that hit on MT was dirty. When you are going full speed attempting to make a tackle......you can't completely stop in a split second if you hear a whistle.....plus it's was probably a bit noisy in there that day. UND is not a dirty team, but you and Montana can continue to feel that way if you'd like.

1. There is no way the Bison rush for 300 yards and also pass for 250 plus. Definitely could end up passing for 250, but not the rushing for 300 in the same game. 2. I think we will try and bring pressure on Wentz early, hit him a few times and knock him down (nothing illegal or dirty...just hitting him like you normally would). Try to rough him up early, may not sack him....he may complete some passes, but we've seen even great NFL QB's like Brady and Manning start rushing a little etc. when they are getting constant pressure. Not every down of course, will have to mix it up....but if we don't get pressure on him and he gets to sit back there all day we are in trouble.

There is no way they are going to ban that, NDSU is classier than that. That would just be dumb.

Well I guess I'm in the minority then. I'll take last year's home uniforms over these. They are too tight, shoulder pads pop out after every play. These uniforms look like a uniform from Southeast Louisiana State or something like that. I'm glad everybody else likes them and the players, but I honestly don't care for them. As long as we win though I don't care.

Think they need to do some catch em drills this week to hold on to those picks, we can't drop those next week and in Big Sky play.

Haha well this middle aged guy.....apparently has more of a life than you. I don't spend my free time on a college fan base site where I never went to school just to rip on them. So lets get this straight, you are only a casual NDSU fan, have no interest in UND.....but you are constantly on the UND site. To me this means either A. You have no life B. You should probably go see a psychiatrist if you need to come on a UND site to try and bash a team and school to make yourself feel better. Anyway.....enough on that....not going to tie up this thread anymore on that subject.

So you won't even be watching the game.......but yet you are on this site constantly, mostly making negative comments about UND. Once in a blue moon you take a semi shot at NDSU, but as you stated you are an NDSU fan. It's the biggest game in the state, if you won't even be watching.....you really shouldn't even be posting here. If you are going to sit and post here all the time, you should be watching the game, and checking the Notre Dame game during commercials. If you won't be watching the game, don't post on here....go to the Bison site and post.

Johnboy, you sometimes like to claim that you are just a fan of football and are in ND, so that is why you post here. Can you just at least admit that you are hoping NDSU pummels UND by at least 30 next week, lets get real here.

We are not as good as we thought we were after week one, and I don't think we are as bad as everyone now thinks we are after week two. We are still in somewhat of a rebuilding situation unfortunately, and those that had us 8-3 this year just wasn't that realistic in my opinion. This is only the 2nd year of the rebuild, we will take a few lumps this year.....and we just took a lump. Fortunately the lump still resulted in a W.

Well we are glad that you haven't posted in a while, thank you. This game has reset some expectations for sure.....but feel free to not post again for a while.....probably wouldn't bother most of us.

Wow guys....don't jump off the cliff quite yet. Senior lead Drake team with something to prove made us look really bad in the second half. Thanks to Drake for playing tough for 4 quarters. If this doesn't wake us up, nothing will. They are going to have to be a lot more focused and inspired, and just plain old a lot better next week to even have a chance. This certainly changes my perception of what could happen next week, if we play like this and turn the ball over it could be a blow out next week. That said I think Bubba and staff will be chewing some ass this week and I expect a much better performance next week. But man this was really disappointing.

Big run from Santiago coming

That first run that Santiago had in the second half that he ran for 7 yards, I think he is the only UND RB that would have made that run. We are going to need him to play to be a strong team, he is just going to have to learn very quickly he needs to hold on to the ball.

He is basically a troll, although he claims he is not a Bison fan. 95% of his comments on here are negative towards UND.

Marginally better? Yes the run game has been bad, but probably 200 yards passing and 3 TD's in the first half, and no snaps over the head. I'd say it's a little more than marginally better, however the fumbles and the lack of running is certainly concerning. But if they are focusing all on stopping the run, we have to prove we can beat teams through the air if that is what opponents are going to try and do. If we didn't fumble on the one yard line it would be 28-0, not a bad half time score. 21-0 isn't a bad halftime score either.

Lets see what kind of corrections they can make in the run game at half, run game looks like crap in the first half.

I'd like to see some runs to end the half.

Well it's better he gets the fumbleitis out of his system today....instead of next week. We can't put the ball on the ground 3 times in the first quarter next week.

Ouch that is going to hurt if we can't trust to give Santiago the ball this season.
