Imagine when he is a senior.....and really really good, and we could have had him for a whole more year after that, but instead we played him for 25 snaps in the 2015 season. I would have liked to have seen us keep his redshirt.

Why was that on Studsrud? His arm got hit on the one pass....and the 3rd down play the WR was covered like a blanket, no separation.

It's definitely a lot better setup than last year where you had to register, and then sometimes when you registered you couldn't get access etc. Now it's easy....just click on the game, I haven't had any issues on the site so far and am liking it a lot better.

24 - 13 UND Also agree it's almost a must win for many reasons. If we lose this there will be a lot of apathy from the fan base among one of them.

Santiago, Grady, Smith, Olivera.....those are some good freshman. Too bad we didn't have the luxury of redshirting all of them this year......they would have been seniors in 2019 for the next go round with NDSU. Would have been nice to have them witness it this time on the sideline, and then bring it home in 2019 as key starters. But this year first.....let's have a good game against UC.

Pretty sure our D-2 offense put up around 40 on the road against FCS Northern Iowa. I would totally wholesale change that offense out with this one for just this year if I could. That offense would have gotten more than 61 yards last week. We keep talking about our offensive line, and rightfully so. So was our offensive line that beat Northern Iowa, who were all D2 recruits that much better than our current O line who are all FCS recruits? If so...that seems kind of sad. Hopefully we bounce back this week and look a lot better.

If we see another 4 offensive quarters like the last 6, we really have to start questioning everybody on the offensive side of the ball, including the coaches. I really hope we turn it around so that we don't have to go there, but man I just get pissed when I think how bad we've looked for 6 quarters. 2nd half verses Drake excuse = we let up. 4 quarters against NDSU = they are a really good defense and we played poorly. Those are the excuses that can be used. No more excuses going forward!! Look like something that resembles an FCS offense!! Figure it out!!

Where do we go from here......well most of us would have taken 2-1 after the first three games. However each of the last two games left a real bad taste in our mouths. 6 horrendous offensive quarters. We stunk it up offensively last year for the first 3rd of the season but we got better. Both the players and coaches really need to step it up, and it will go back to the cliché I guess.......they all need to get back to work very hard....Day by Day. They are going to have to mix a few things up on offense though, the last 6 quarters just don't come close to cutting it.

Amen to the banning of mj23 and similar posters. Let NDSU spout for a few days since we just played them....and then get them off here. They can come back in 2019, but this is a UND site and it gets really old having them come on here and brag about NDSU and bash us. I think most of us come here to talk about Sioux football, not argue and start fights. But when they come in here and start with their crap, it is kind of hard not to sometimes.

Can you imagine if a UND player broke NDSU's starting safeties leg with that hit? If they didn't go on to win a championship, we would hear for years how UND's dirty play stole a championship from NDSU. I don't think NDSU coaches players to hit or play dirty, the kid may be a good kid......but that was a bad hit. You cannot blame us for calling it out as such because you guys would have gone nuts if a UND player did it to you.

I have no problem with Klieman's comments in regards to that, not one bit. I can see his point and I really don't think it is a big deal or him whining or complaining.

To be fair....the same thing could have been said about Mollberg last year.....except not after 3 halves......more like 4-5 full games. Not saying Mollberg shouldn't play now though, I'm up for whatever gets our offense moving.

So is it going to be worth blowing Smith's redshirt this year?

If you.....one of the bigger trolls and UND bashers/Bison braggers out there......can only say......."Tough to tell what he was thinking", then we know it was a bad hit.

So should people across the country quit watching high school football, DII football......and quit caring about all football what so ever except for FBS and NFL? There is good football played on most all levels. I think we do get your point that FCS is not FBS......and our hockey is at the top collegiate level. I think it's ok to care about FCS football.....but yes it needs to be kept in perspective.

I am bewildered as well about our offense. How did we go from running all over WY (and yes I know they are not very good, but I'm sure the entire 2011 Bison class will post again to remind us) and being a fumble away from going up on Drake 28-0 at half, to going to almost complete ineptitude? It's like somebody flipped a switch at halftime against Drake, they need to get that switch flipped back on. Yes NDSU is good, but I agree we should be better than that and Drake did the same thing against us in the second half.

Maybe call some screen plays if the line isn't blocking? Maybe a quick hitter to the TE over the middle. or maybe anything over the middle instead of throwing out routes that they were all over us. Or maybe getting Stanley lined up against their small corner 1 on 1 and throwing it up and letting him make a play. Seems like I recall the write up saying you need to beat the Tampa 2 over the middle, to me it seemed like all we threw were passes to the outside. I do realize it's pretty hard when you aren't blocking anybody, to call plays....I get that. Now maybe some of those plays were called and I missed it. I went to the bathroom when we punted and recovered the ball, and then it sounds like we had a pass play over the middle to get us down to the goal line, I missed the recovery and that pass. But from what it sounds like, that was the exact type of pass I had been yelling for up to that point and after that point. I know it's easy to be an armchair QB, but you really can't argue I would have called a worse game.
