I don't really see anything that's not doable within the next 15-20 years. Can never plan too far ahead. Not really a fan of the athlete housing deal at the site of memorial stadium though. Would like to see them connect it to the other side of the HPC, if they aren't going to add windows on the East side. Edit: A couple facts of note - that big building South of the HPC in the above pic isn't in the athletic departments 2018 master plan, and I don't see the softball field on there either. It's supposed to be frat houses on the 2018 UND masater plan, but plans can change. Maybe UND just wanted a rendering of what a new softball field could look like, without having a specific location in mind. https://campus.und.edu/facilities-management/_files/docs/und-athletics-masterplan-0406.pdf https://campus.und.edu/facilities-management/_files/docs/2018-master-plan.pdf

Thanks. That's what I figured, but the ads at the end made me think it was in the Betty's storage area or something... This makes more sense haha

This! I was not happy about this AT ALL - I am happy to say that I was wrong. However, I think the Herald article mentioned that he wanted to wait on moving forward until the new President was in place, but the SBHE overruled him. We may have just gotten lucky.

Spreadsheet of everyone's schedule so far. Hopefully some games get announced soon... only have @ Nebraska right now. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RXeS_A4oxTIjsm5efwX1xmlzkyQqKrnoWlb0IN3O73E/edit#gid=1810998462

Kinda random, but how often does the team get new uniforms? Does the fact that game used Adidas jerseys are being sold at the Sioux Shop indicate anything? Or do they just get replacements every year with the same design?
-
Miss Kennedy already.

I think they made this announcement to start a 7 team conference, eliminating UAA, UAF, and UAH, as a way to entice ASU as the 8th team. When ASU shuts them down, they take UAH back, or possibly a Atlantic team..
-
If UAH gets their arena built, I could see the WCHA welcoming them back.
-
That's pretty cool. The shell of their arena is pretty huge... guessing it could be renovated to add sufficient seating. The arenas for Army and Air Force aren't very big either, and I think they could make this building work in Atlantic hockey.

I think the weak point in the whole thing was their one page contract with no penalty for leaving early.

I don't buy the caffeine thing, but it was probably just something like creatine, which isn't that big of a deal. No matter what happened though, NDSU treated the guy like crap, and turned a non issue into a controversy. LOL
-
Would Robbin's former teammates have thrown Newman under the bus for caffeine? It's interesting that the former teammates knew exactly who to point the finger at, if it was really just too much caffeine.
-
The wording is interesting. If it was caffeine, you think that would choose different wording than saying that he tested positive for a banned substance, because caffeine isn't banned - having too much of it in your system is, right. So wouldn't they choose different wording? Words mean something.

Are NDSU's women's teams fully funded?

The addition of UMKC make UNC any more interested in the Summit?

Does anyone know if the ticket revenue in UND's report is before are after the Ralph's 52% cut? The reason I ask this is because I do not see an expense anywhere on the Ralph's financial statement, where they show an expense for UND's 48% cut of tickets. So I feel like they each show their revenue, if paid to them directly by ticketmaster, and neither show an expense for the other's share of tickets. So the ticket sales essentially could be double. Am I missing something here? The only place that I could maybe see it accounted for is under Athletic Facilities Debt Services, Leases, and Rental Fee, but that number isn't high enough. Anyone have any insight on this? The Ralphs 2017 financials

Here is the NDSU report, for those interested. https://www.scribd.com/document/414083370/NCAA-Financial-Report-2017-18-NDSU?secret_password=ZyNO5fOcrqguPNpLqLzt

I just LOVE the guy's swing and think it will translate. And hes only like 22. I might be biased though... just can't stand the hype and long leash people like Sano get, when they strike out like 40% of the time, strand runners on base, but can hit a few home runs.

Twins need to keep Arraez in the show. It's a treat to watch him hit, and he clearly has big league talent. Trade Schoop as part of a package for a relief pitcher.
