What kind of sentence is that? Just embarrassing...

Is it too early to critique the new OL coach? He had rave reviews from this board, initially. Since the hire, they purposely had the OL drop weight, and now we can't run the ball. How many times have we been stuffed up the middle on 3rd/4th and 1? Is zone blocking working? Pass protection has been decent at least, right? It doesn't help though that every time there is pressure, Ket turns around and runs directly backwards, instead of rolling out and keeping his eyes down field.

New thought, punting wildcat formation... a first! Wanzek can kick and throw.... put him behind center and have Peterson out wide!
-
Holy cow. He's on both the indoor and outdoor track rosters, and he's a sprinter! Placed third in the SDSU dual last winter... I searched google to find a formula that converts the 60M dash time to the 40 yard dash, and this 6.88 time translates roughly to a 4.2 40. Not sure how accurate that is, but either way, he has speed. He can catch long snaps - I wonder if he could run a deep route... throw him out there on the wildcat once, and have boltman bomb it to him haha

Wow, this is a really long, but really good article.

Just noticed this.. UND/Freund has been getting it done in the red zone this year... Touchdowns-Red Zone Opportunities Drake 4-5 NDSU 1-1 SHSU 3-3 EWU 3-3 UCD 4-5 Red Zone Scoring 5-5 1-1 3-3 3-3 4-5. UND has scored points in every red zone appearance but one! And only one of those was a field goal instead of a td! This is extremely impressive. Edit: Just checked the NCAA stats, and UND is 12th in the country in red zone scoring percentage. Can't find TD percentage, but I'm thinking this has to be first... Relating this to the Idaho State game, Idaho State ranks first in Red Zone Scoring Percentage, scoring at a 100% clip. However, out of 11 red zone appearances, 5 of their scores were from field goals (also 2 rushing TD and 4 passing TD). ISU is 11 for 11 and UND is 16 for 17

Haven't made it to a game this year or last year, but I'd agree with this. What really got me was that when they did play music, they were always really slow with getting it started after the play is blown dead. It would start like half way between the whistle and snap of the ball, and you could hear all of like 10 seconds of the song. Not a huge deal but another one of those little things that add up. Guessing that hasn't changed. Also, why did that committee dissolve? Chaves?

The saints stadium is great. I'd rather go to a game there than target field any day of the week. Except today I guess. More intimate venues normally have a better fan experience. Was at us bank for the first time and decided id rather be at the Alerus. Was so far away from the field I couldn't see what was really happening.

I think the committee would give us some leeway, even if EWU does tank the rest of the year, just because EWU has so much name recognition and the conditions were so bad, and it was earlier in the season. Pretty sure the committee looks at rankings at the time the games were played, as well, and it was a loss to a ranked team at the time.

I do not think that game is on the defense at all, by the way. They had a tough first half, giving up 28 points, but the D held EWU to 35 points which in't that bad, considering EWU's scoring drives were only 59 yards, 18 yards, 59 yards, 64 yards, and 18 yards. That is an average starting field position of OUR OWN 43.6 yard line. That is on the Ket due to turnovers and special teams. We averaged 31.3 yards punting vs EWU' 37.7. EWU punted the ball nine times - UND 6 times. The announcers mentioned how dumb it was for our punter to keep blasting it into the wind over and over, while EWU was doing the rugby punts to keep it out of the wind. Special teams coaching fail yet again.

Was this Bubba's worst game to date as head coach? Certainly it had to be the worst first half. It seams that the sentiment of this fan base has finally flipped on him. Do more people want Bubba gone than want him to stay now? Kinda hope Tom Miller has a interview with Bubba and asks him some tough questions, Philly style.
-
If they come out in the 3rd I'll change from being pro Bubba to indifferent. Also, our strength coach should be gone! Both lines are pathetic, and he somehow made JJ slower...
-
at least we have that going for us...
-
Still b's calling that after the horsecollar
-
We're gonna get blown out
-
Our o line hasnr got any push since they purposely lost weight. stupid.

Thats what happens when there is only 15k in the budget every year for guarantee games. The line about teams not wanting to come all the way up here is bs... they just don't want to do it for FREE. Guarantee games in basketball aren't THAT expensive. USD, SDSU, NDSU all spend more than UND on guaranteed payments for basketball, on average over the past few years.

Worst schedule in the country. Looks like the Campbell game is in Florida and Seattle disappeared. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2019/9/27/mens-basketball-power-programs-highlight-non-conference-slate.aspx

Well, it's not free.

Is this the anonymous donor or a new donation? I have a feeling this is the anonymous donor?

Holy crap, the weather for this game looks to be pretty crazy. Will this affect how the teams play? Normally I'd say this would be to UND's advantage, but our passing defense has been better than our run defense, and our O-line doesn't get very much push. This would be assuming that the weather causes both teams to run more. What are your thoughts on how this affects the game and game plan for each team? It could SNOW!
