  1. True story: One of the last games I attended at the student, had an adult scream at us to sit down when there was 1:20 left in the period and we were all standing. That same adult was screaming for the usher when we were standing just a little too long after UND scored because we wanted to sing the Beer Song. That being said, I'm going to say something controversial: UND student section should be way better than it is... its should be Cameron Crazy level intense.
  2. I still wish they had the student sections at the end where UND shot twice. Could stand the whole time, and could chirp at the goalie for 40 out of the 60 minutes and maybe get in his head. I just never got the appeal of chirping at the guy in the penalty box. Oh well.
  3. Geno, Marlon, Seales, Tray, Jafar, Moody, Brown. That is a lot of players to try and give 120 minutes to, given that Geno, Marlon and Seales will take the bulk of the minutes. Add in Jaqwan, who will take minutes at the 3 as well as the 4, and that is even less for the last 4 players on my list.
  4. Why don't they just come out and say it. They just don't like Kennedy. They want to go back to the way things were.
  5. If they do a good job in rotating sites on a yearly basis around the state, it will have one thing over HDM.
  6. A small private NAIA school in NW Iowa. Same conference as former NCC member Morningside
  7. Well we know one person won't be back Franken is heading to Dordt.
  8. I could see this going down a lot like Pryor's 2nd year here, around 22-23 wins, top half finish in the conference, etc. They did lose a ton, but if they can find a way to replace that production, they can push for a 3-peat. I think they will be picked 2nd in the league next year behind DU. The key for me is always the setter, is Mattson ready to step in for some big shoes?
  9. I'm not as bothered by this as I would have been in years past. I care more about the product on the ice/field/etc. and the advancement of the academics at the University I love and graduated at. I have a jersey and a top that has the logo. If student gov't wants to do it, more power to them. Just don't screw it up What is wrong with me, I have become soft since leaving Grand Forks!
  10. Didn't somebody on this board ask about this question already and got somewhat of an answer?
  11. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=211709595#.WsesxL9WpMw.twitter Tamas decided to hang it up
  12. So two questions 1) How likely is the Summit to get to 10 teams before the 18-19 season? 2) If no for number 1, how will the travel partners work? Like this? UND-NDSU SDSU-USD Omaha-Denver WIU-IPFW ORU the lone wolf
  13. Didn't know if I wanted to start a new thread on this particular issue but the Dakota Student got some blowback on their April Fools Day article http://www.wdaz.com/news/4426182-students-say-april-fools-day-article-reignites-sioux-logo-controversy http://www.grandforksherald.com/opinion/editorials/4426730-our-view-standing-beside-und-newspaper-over-joke-story
  14. He didn't on his first two, the third one during his Junior season he finally got T'd up To build on Mafia's point a bit, because of his reputation, during this years ACC tournament against UNC he was called for a flagrant 1 when he hip checked a Tar Heel player. One could argue that if it was a different player it wouldn't have been called the same way.
  15. Honestly, if you asked me last year I would have said us. I thought we could contended in year 1.
  16. Summit should be working the phones in Lac Cruces. That would be the dream 10th school
  17. My impression is that Augie was the better academic school (but could be wrong on this) FB: USF BB: Augie
  18. http://usdcoyotesports.proboards.com/thread/2319/wanting-augustana-summit This isn't going to go away now isn't it? Rumored $100+ million endownment for Augie to go D1 w/o Football
  19. Of the 20 innings the Twins starters have pitched so far. 0 runs 3 hits given up Great start
  20. If UND wants the scab to heal, part of that is going to have to come from the athletic department itself. Translation: what happened this year cannot be the norm, it must be the exception. One sport in particular needs to follow that more than others
  21. By the grace of the good lord Loyola, beat Michigan. Nova-Kansas will be an excellent clash tonight.
