http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/eye-on-college-basketball/25273953/candid-coaches-has-a-shoe-company-ever-cost-you-a-players-commitment Article on shoe companies' influence on where basketball players go to college. Interesting read, but I doubt the companies have interest in the low to mid major prospects and shoes worn by players at UND are simply personal preference.
http://www.thedickinsonpress.com/news/north-dakota/3819751-somali-refugees-work-together-adjust-life-grand-forks Article in the Dickinson Press on Somali immigrants. What has always stood out to me and bothered me is how LSS imports these people and then dumps them on the community with little to no knowledge of how things work here. Cost overruns ≠ fundraising shortfall. Now, they do need to raise/allocate more money to meet the cost overruns, that is an issue, but they had the money necessary to pay the initial estimate.
Idowu (football) is Chemical Engineering, Moser (Volleyball) is in Accounting, Friesz (voted to keep no nickname) is in Health Sciences, and Bahl is in Entrepreneurship/Marketing. Bunch of liberal arts students......
He's not ready yet, but look for Minot St. Pres. Steve Shirley to apply after the next guy leaves. Shirley did his undergrad (business admin), masters (business admin), and doctorate (higher education) all at UND.

Lots of pics on SFI. http://siouxfb.areavoices.com/2015/08/12/und-high-performance-center/ 1. Man that interlocking ND would look good at the Alerus. 2. Hopefully they still plan on doing something with the lower section of the wall that is currently bare concrete. It all looks great other than that. Throw some stain on there or something.
