  1. Its generally a good game regardless of records, and your point goes to show that if thats the biggest game this week, that their isn't much going on in the big scheme of football this week.
  2. It is only 20 years old. It is a good venue for football. Maybe in 10-15 more years.
  3. Nebraska might come in a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 if we were FBS. How would you propose NDSU go to FBS right now? Athletic budget would go up stupid amounts.
  4. "The Biggest Little Game in America," not far from ESPN. Neat. Are you comparing Roseau to Grand Forks? And of course they can average higher crowds. UND is drawing from the same general pool as NDSU for people to go to the games. Probably an hour and a half from my house in north Fargo to the Alerus parking lot....if I stop for gas on my way out of Fargo. Disagree. I don't think we'd get 30,000 average. I think we'd push 30,000 for homecoming and UNI. The others, probably not.
  5. Don't know that they had a bad week of FBS matchups like this one. No top 25 matchups this week. Only a couple games to get excited about: Utah/BYU Notre Dame/Michigan St. (Megaphone Game)
  6. A team playing in a larger city doesn't need a proportionally larger stadium. UND is within an hour of Fargo. Has as many students, and more alums and is one of two major universities in the state. Just because Fargo is bigger doesn't mean NDSU should be able to average 3 times as many people as UND. I guess the mighty Minnesota Golden Gophers and Northwestern Wildcats should average more than basically everyone in the B1G with that thinking. Don't kid yourself. If NDSU hadn't beat K-State, college gameday is probably in Utah for the Holy War.
  7. I hope this is a troll statement....cause it holds no water.
  8. I'm referring to the Babich Era in general. 2000 was a good year. Not sure I was even as tall as Gary Coleman back then... Which of these things is not like the other? A.) Morton B.) Solomonson C.)Hager D.) Babich
  9. Once I think.. 2000. Probably coulda/shoulda/woulda won the title even with two qb's tearing ACL's in the quarterfinals. Failure by NDSU's lofty standards.
  10. Dr. Lou was definitely misquoted do to his speech impediment. I believe what he said was, "Notre Dame should be able to go 12-1 this year and NDSU is a no-brainer to repeat."
  11. Ummm....no. That didn't happen. They beat ISU 56-17.
  12. Could UND pay him enough to even consider the job?
  13. I believe he moved on...don't know if the administration nudged him out or not though.
  14. He'd probably get murdered on national television.
  15. That offensive line didn't look capable of "Smashmouth" football.
  16. Went to the game with some buddies. UND's defense was beyond awful. Painful to watch them.
  17. 15 carries 46 yards. 14 carries 43 yards. You should want to stop the run more than some passing stuff....
  18. 3 studs. Didn't spend a lot of time on the field 3 and out city.
  19. Not a whole lot. Sometimes though.
  20. In the event of that, I will commit a federal felony and give you all my narcotic painkillers from surgeries the past couple years...percocet, oxy, hydro.
  21. Holy goodness. What drug cocktail does your doctor have you on?

    NDSU jokes

Correct. She doesn't particularly care for medical doctors though. It confuses me too. One would think they'd be together. I guess it falls under Applied Sciences Well done, Sir.
