If I was UND I'd probably try to keep it on campus. I don't mind going downtown for my classes, considering the building is the nicest NDSU has, but I personally like being on campus more than being downtown.

No doubt in my mind that I'd have some bad thoughts..... Should be a a fun next month or so. Really interested to see how some of these matchups go. 24 teams seems like a lot...

Just got home. Few thoughts from this game: 1.) Officiating made it unwatchable. Bad calls in favor and against both teams. They literally didn't allow defense to be played. I am not a basketball wiz at all...but I generally can understand what is going on....not this game. This was not basketball. IMO, the style of officiating definitely benefited UND. I am not saying the refs helped UND, cause they didn't help anyone at all. I could understand if this was too teams playing physical...but it wasn't. 2.) NDSU is not as good as I thought they were. This team might make the dance...completely possible....that doesn't make them a good team...maybe they will be both a good team and a dance team by the time march rolls around. IDK! But I think they are significantly more hype than substance right now. Maybe that will change, maybe it won't. 1.) This team was not good from the free throw line. 2.) This team has made one three that I can think of in the 2 games I have watched(this one and the St. Mary's game). 3.) This team is not deep right now. 3.) UND hit shots tonight and our guys didn't. That is what it comes back to...UND has possibly the most annoying announcer I have ever heard....maybe its the same way in Fargo and I don't notice. Would have been much more fun to watch if they hadn't called fouls every 20-30 seconds and let the teams actually play. Also, sign me up for the club that wants it to be a home-home every year. That said, this is been a weak atmosphere 4 years in a row...

Has hockey ever been otherwise? I figure(I know very very very little about this sport) if the best players can only be on the ice around 1/3 of the time it should come down to experience, no?

Don't dis Harvey. Nice little town that loves football. Born in the valley.... Spent most of my short life outside of the valley, including in GASP! Colorado Springs... Hills and mountains and trees suck.

North Dakota is better than Colorado. Red River Valley is beautiful in its own way. So flat it almost seems manmade.

Can they settle it with either a dance-off or a dunk contest? or interpretive dunking?

Honestly the regular season doesn't matter for much in any conference tourney considering any team actually capable of winning the tourney is probably in it. Wolters is gone....even if he was still here...wouldn't be a shock for NDSU to make it this year. Pretty fun watching those two teams go at it last year.

Thats odd, 2 of the last 3 have been blowouts I think it'll be within 10 points one way or the other. I'll throw down a case of beer that the Herd keeps him under 40...seems safe enough for me eh?

Absolutely shocked it isn't sold out. Not overly happy about the ticket price. When I looked online it looked like they were 25 or 30 bucks a pop? Couple years ago we got in for 10 or 15.

Don't really care too much where the people come from as long as they are being productive for NDSU.
