Mind telling everyone here what your record was against the Summit League last season? The almighty Big Sky isn't exactly the cream of the crop as far as basketball goes.

They certainly don't. What I fail to see though is what do you mean?

I'll be there. I doubt they'll be anything special, but who knows. Point guard will be a senior, shooting guard will be a Jr, small forward will be a soph(assuming he gets that job), post will be a Jr., dont know about the other big man.

I'm talking about fan support.. Face it only hockey matters at UND. And for some football matters at NDSU, but it's funny how it's UND fans that constantly rip on NDSU fans about the BSA when they know basketball is #2 at NDSU. I rarely see a student section so empty when I see DI football on tv, so maybe pump some money into that program and you can fill that "We have one too" Center. I also almost crapped myself when I went to the UND-Montana game two weeks at the Alerus. I was like "Am I at North Dakota high school football championship game?" Two way street darell.

No excuses. Our volleyball team is awful. Heck, if they get over 20 points in any given set I'd be surprised.

Ok. If a football team at a major university doesn't outdraw the basketball team....something is terribly wrong with the football team. I imagine Duke football outdraws Duke basketball. Kansas football outdraws Kansas basketball. The time of the large garage is almost over. Feel free to smack about how long it has taken to get the money put together...it has taken longer than I think anyone expected, but it'll be leaps and bounds better than the current situation. And the volleyball fieldhouse is perfect for a volleyball team. Better than having it in the BSA with thousands of empty seats....and honestly, smacking on where a volleyball team plays? For real?

Thats weird....our basketball attendance(while not great by any means) is fine...especially when you look at the building they play in. I don't think UND fans are in any position to smack NDSU on fan support...

UND will win recruiting battles just like NDSU will win recruiting battles. Most SU fans seem to think Dorn is running our women's sports into the ground(outside of track and softball). Current volleyball team/coach seem to be awful.

It looked like it was probably an alum...there was a guy on the balcony in a white pullover it looked like. NDSU folks were all in yellow or green for the most part. Regardless of who it was, it added a little bit of good natured fun to the morning.

They honored the FCS because of what NDSU has been doing, and what EWU did....those were huge wins...and on top of it, there were a lot of FCS wins. IF K-State beats NDSU, I believe it would have been in Utah for the HOly War this week. He probably saw CAS' rings on the bisonvielle thread.....little does he know (assuming thats what he is referring to) CAS was apart of the 80's dynasty.

What if I showed up at a UND hockey event rocking a Jensen jersey? Makes no sense to wear a hockey shirt to a football event.

Lol that doesn't make sense. Today was fun though. Saw some UND folks get heckled, mostly the dumb***es showing up in hockey shirts.

If UND wants to come in, get used and abused, take their money and leave without expecting anything else...I bet Gene would be more than happy to play UND. Marquee FCS showdown. A game against UND? Not in the slightest right now.

Its generally a good game regardless of records, and your point goes to show that if thats the biggest game this week, that their isn't much going on in the big scheme of football this week.

It is only 20 years old. It is a good venue for football. Maybe in 10-15 more years.

Nebraska might come in a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 if we were FBS. How would you propose NDSU go to FBS right now? Athletic budget would go up stupid amounts.

"The Biggest Little Game in America," not far from ESPN. Neat. Are you comparing Roseau to Grand Forks? And of course they can average higher crowds. UND is drawing from the same general pool as NDSU for people to go to the games. Probably an hour and a half from my house in north Fargo to the Alerus parking lot....if I stop for gas on my way out of Fargo. Disagree. I don't think we'd get 30,000 average. I think we'd push 30,000 for homecoming and UNI. The others, probably not.

Don't know that they had a bad week of FBS matchups like this one. No top 25 matchups this week. Only a couple games to get excited about: Utah/BYU Notre Dame/Michigan St. (Megaphone Game)

A team playing in a larger city doesn't need a proportionally larger stadium. UND is within an hour of Fargo. Has as many students, and more alums and is one of two major universities in the state. Just because Fargo is bigger doesn't mean NDSU should be able to average 3 times as many people as UND. I guess the mighty Minnesota Golden Gophers and Northwestern Wildcats should average more than basically everyone in the B1G with that thinking. Don't kid yourself. If NDSU hadn't beat K-State, college gameday is probably in Utah for the Holy War.
