Bohl leaving could be bad, but NDSU can be looked at similar to UND hockey, even for a bad coach, it is still easy to maintain a pretty solid record. Top300 recruits do not end up at NDSU anyway. If DI goes to 3 levels.....NDSU would continue to do fine. NDSU MIGHT win the MVFC. No guarantees in weird power conferences. I'll take Montana to win the BSC but they could easily end up 4th or 5th. IF UND ends up in the playoffs in Fargo....bad things will happen.

Solid front 7 last year. Tough to compare two teams though when they don't play similar teams.

If UND had played this very K-State team and been beaten by 30-40 points, you'd probably be posting something along the lines of "K-State is a great program and is consistently good under LHCBS."

You listed elite programs. Plenty of "good" programs would probably rather not schedule top notch FCS schools.

Bigger in that OSU was ranked one spot higher than K-State and EWU isn't as good as NDSU sure. Hard thing early in the year to figure out how good some of these teams are. A.) Sagarin stats are for one game scenarios I believe. Of course NDSU couldn't handle an SEC schedule. Even Alabama couldn't if you only gave them 63 scholarships. Could NDSU play with the lower SEC schools? Probably a few of them. Mel Kiper seems to think so anyway. There was no flukey luck in beating K-State. NDSU shut down their running game...NDSU ran the ball effectively. That is how football games are won.

Its the manner in which he is using it. If someone uses my first and middle name in a mocking tone and then when I get botherd claims "But thats your name, why would you be mad?" The problem is in their use of it. If my mother uses my first and middle name, I am not going to be mad because of the context in which she is using it.

Well, I suppose when you are the trailblazer of as far as Division All-Sports, you will be right about some things, and wrong about others. UND fans could gauge these things differently than NDSU fans were able to do at the time.

I have a poster from that game....back in like '03. A team starting their transition marked it as their first D-I game....I don't know if anyone was claiming Valpo was a tough team or anything at the time but if so, they were wrong.

WBB and VB...not optimistic Not like I go to their games anyway....only been to like 3 volleyball matches in 3 seasons of living here. Would be nice to see them win though. UND is certainly doing better in the sports I'd like to see NDSU doing better in. Volleyball and basketball.

disagree on the players...if a song/video gets the fans excited and making noise and what not, that should probably be enough. Heck, the players can probably barely hear thunderstruck in the dome, but they can sure hear the fans.

NDSU Missouri St I believe UNI pre-Kollmorgen USD's qb is pretty athletic I think.
