Agreed. The conference re-alignment could stay as that stuff is sure to be around for the forseeable future. Maybe that would be the spot to discuss schools from all different levels? NCAA could be the category, then sub-categories could be conference re-alignments, then something like "other school news"

That is really great news! I just spoke with my brother in Devils Lake who is much more of a hockey fan and he goes: "sounds like the football team is going to be pretty good this year." He is definitely not a die hard football fan so it sounds like there is some buzz brewing up there! I am flying up for that one and I can't wait!

I think a Big Sky News Forum would be a great idea. A good way to consolidate news and topics related to our new conference.

I believe one reason is that hockey jerseys tend to have a very prominent and appealing logo on the chest, rather than a football jersey with a number. Also, that Indian head logo looked so damn sweet on a hockey jersey!

That makes total sense, I didn't think about the football field. Since we are on the topic I wonder if the old Big Sky logos that were part of the turf design will be changed? Maybe this is why they waited this long into the summer to do the install?

Good Point. I am kind of thinking that I like where they placed us. I believe that we are a much better team, but at this stage in the game I would rather be thought of as the underdog; maybe sneak up and surprise any teams that look down on us. cough cough Sac State.

As someone said earlier the quality of Big Sky TV is generally pretty good. Also I heard through the grapevine that UND was working on improving the quality of our internet feed; which leads me to believe that it has something to do with Midco Sports. That is all I know at this point.

I couldn't agree more. It did make me feel more optimistic with the signings of the two safeties Kennedy and Lewis as they look like pretty solid players. Time will tell; I just wish we didn't have to wait so long!!
