I think UND needs to come out focused and stay out the penalty box. Also, I hope they guys move their feet tonight, get on Briggs and lets score some goals. The kid is not a good goaltender at all and last night Briggs is was not good either and the shot he stopped last night were logo killers, over the Sioux shot them at pipes. I feel that game last night was given away, merry friggen christmas Minnesota. Now I wish Stafford would put in a 100 percent effort every shift every night. Someone mentioned that he should be on a milk carton as missing I thought that was classic. Not making any excuses for the Sioux but the officials have to be more consistant in calling Penalties, Irman's check on big Mike last night was dirty and should have been a penalty like others had mentioned. If that had been Smaby, Matt would have been sent to the showers. I almost wish we were playing on the road were UND is like 6-1-1 and UND is some thing like 4-4 at home. So much for home cooking eh?

Quack, Quack... I forgot to mention other than it smokey as heck in the Long Haul Saloon, the steak and eggs was awesome. They made a pretty good bloody marry, which happened to be free.

If just one of them went in it could have been a little different game.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff Dubay today during the broadcast at the Long Haul Saloon. I have to say that Dubay is a really good guy. It was a lot of fun listening to the PA and Dubay show. I recommend going next season when the Sioux and Gophers play in Grand Forks again.

FSN is doing their pre-game for the Wild and Pens from the Ralph, Greg Lotus was just on with the FSN announcer and Greg look pretty good with the mic in his hand. I think Greg has a future in Radio and Television. Nice touch they had done some good coverage of UND.

I like the fact that Hak is doing some good things with this team.

Punkovich is a hack and a disgrace, also, we are going to have issues with Chorney and Lee gone when we play Harvard. I suppose we are going to be missing Toews too. I can't imagine how bad we are going to be with Foyt and Marvin back on the blue line. Talk about pylons. Oh well I suppose we are still more talented then the crimson.

Now remember ussually we have beaten our opponent on Friday night and the opposing team has come out of the gate smoking on Saturday. Oh well we have won most of them. Those two will have a sunburn from the red lights going on by saturday evening. I just beg some goofer fan to come on here talking about how grea Briggs is and that we are going to get crushed this weekend. happy, skippy, slappy. Anyone? Let me just be on record that the Goofers don't scare me one bit. Sure, I will give kudos to Phil Kessel but he is one player and UND has must as many skilled playes as they do. Besides I like our defense better than theirs.

Honestly Dubay is still nothing more than an over glorified fan like Masucko. Also, being objective isn't one of his strong points, that fine for fans like us but as a radio personality I expect a little more. The Gopher Forwards are pretty good, there is no doubt about it, but the rest of the league has forwards just as good as UofMN. That being said Kessel is pretty decent dynamic hockey player, however, he is getting a lot of attention and I expect more of the same this weekend. I expect Kessel and Prpich to on the ice at the same time a lot and from watching Kessel he can be take out and off his game pretty easily.

I think he means their pride is crippled. I think UND can sweep this series.

UND is like tied for fourth in the league after going 5-1 against some bottom feeders. I am not convinced we can't go higher as Minnesota is not that good. I think a home spot and in the WCHA playoffs is a must and they have the schedule to do it, we only play Wisconsin twice this year. As for Wisconsin, they are good but we will see if they are 26-1-1 at the end of the season. In the second half of the season losses will come and they will taper off a bit. They will have their problems too. I remember UND won the WCHA and then couldn't win a game in the playoffs that year. We will see if that happens to Wisconsin or not.

Sioux 6-1-1 on the Road this season. Not too bad. Jordy stops 41/43 shots tonight. Not too bad.
