I suppose one could say that this isn't the year to lose that long streak. I think UND can keep it going if they play like a team and focus on getting the puck out the defensive zone and keep the puck in the Crimson zone most of the game. I would bet money that they don't have a line like Stafford, Zajac and Spirko.

That is a good example of the childish behavior GK has displayed. If you don't agree with people's point of view and perspective you just villifiy them and call them racist and say they are a bunch of classless rubes. GK probably learned that tactic from his white college professors in the arts and sciences department. I notice they have been writing the op ed department of the Grand Forks Herald a lot lately.

Honestly I think that with the schedule that UND has the Sioux could finish 3rd or 4th in the league. There are 18 games left and we only play C.C. twice, UMN two more times and Denver twice. The rest of the teams we play are bottoms feeders in the league.

UND has not lost to an EZAC team for a long time. I mean its like 15-20 I believe.

I just think that losing to a EZAC team isn't an option. Hak has to teach the boys that it doesn't get any easier than this, maybe except for MTU and UAA. I believe we must win these two games. I also believe we can and will. Some of the experienced gents need to step it up this next weekend. As for Scoring the combo of Stafford, Spirko and Zajac have really shinned lately and are making a moves in the points departments. Lets hope that continues. Lastly it appears the two headed monster has returned in net.

Not to sound too cocky but if you went through our line up. I'd bet any money that UND is more sound that Harvard. Zajac, Spirko, Stafford Miller Porter Duncan Watkins, Kozick, Prpich Kaip, Fabin. with who ever. I suppose Foyt. Thats not a bad line up. Tweek the lines which ever way you but I like our chances against a second tier team like Harvard. My guess is that BSU was a tougher team. The goalies might get some work with some of the guys that will be playing but Marvin looked better last time he played on Defense.

It really hasn't come up here as of yet but Phil played an awesome game in net and he stopped 30+ shots in the game and has quitely got his Save percentage above 90%. In fact I was telling someone this morning that he single handily kept the Sioux in the game until we took over the game at the end. So I suppose he will be get more playing time.

If I am not mistaken we haven't done that well when wearing them so I would imagine we may not see them this year. GK has nothing better to do than troll on the UND message board. Pathetic.

Most of us think he is nothing more than a troll and is probably a Goofer fan.

Division one hockey is going to have to do something, but I just don't want the make up of our league changing, I like the fact that UND gets to play rougly 10 non conference games every year. It gives the fans a chance to see how they stack up against the rest of the competition.

Here is what I said earlier about this Honestly I don't see the WCHA going to a 12 team league, or using my senario either, not with the unbalanced WCHA schedule and why would UNO leave the CCHA? The SOS wouldn't even be the same in the league you have suggested. Next, anything that doesn't include a majority of our games including Minnesota, Wisconsin and UMD year after year isn't exceptable in my opinion. I'd beat anyone money its not going to happen. The WCHA has to approve it first and the NCAA isn't going to make the conferences take extra teams.

How about sparky with 4 assists and no penalty in 50+ games. Thats amazing.

Apparently Adam Wodon, Cornell appologist thinks St. Larry is a top ten program. I guess some how the EZAC has gotten stronger this season.

Well I was at the game last night and it got chippy, If I remember right, Smaby did something to Erickson and he thought that Jones did it and it got ugly, also the coaches were barking back and forth at each other Hak and Seratori and Barry and Seratori (spelling I know) it was interesting. I have never seen Jones snap that bad and it was ugly.

We may be visiting this issue again in the future, I hope not just a hunch though. I had an argument this morning at the corner bar with my buddy how UND and WCHA fans don't want to give up a traditional rival like UofMN and UofWisconsin to play four games with the Beavers but, I don't know what do you do with the members of the CHA after Airforce leaves. Robert Morris to the ACHA, Niagra to the EZAC Huntsville and BSU to the WCHA, I suppose WSU to the CCHA. I can't see the WCHA going to 12 teams unless we do way with 4-6 more non conference games and then the schedule still gets more unbalanced.

Now if we can get that to translate to the ice in the second half of the season at UND. Don't get me wrong he has been good but I think he can be great.
