So I am confused are Chorney and Lee and Oshie going to be in Bemidji or not?
-
One more thing losing this weekend is not exceptable. Hak needs to tell the troops that too. If they are not sharp to start the game on Friday they are going to get run out of the building. Beavers Fan Web page. http://www.thebeaverpond.com/

The Herald said that Joe Finley is out 2-6 weeks with an broken arm. The Sioux even with the guys that are missing on paper are a much better team in my humble opinion but the guys that are going to be on Defense are not very good Foyt and Marvin, I believe that Radke Smaby and Jones are going to be tired after this weekend, I believe that Alexander will probably be the other player that plays a lot. Don't know about Alexander but he can't be as bad as Foyt and Marvin. I am kind of hoping Toews is back from Team Canada soon. Up Front the Forwards are going to do real well if they can cycle the puck out of the offensive end of the ice.

Commodore had an assist tonight as Carolina beat Chicago 5-3.

In talking to my buddy in Bemidji he said the game is a sell out, for people that have never been to a game at the glas it is a very small arena. There are seats only on one side of the arena and its very close to the ice its almost like a small basketball gym with a hockey rink in it. It seats about 3000 to 3500 max. You probably will want to get to the game early so you can get situated in your seat. The Glas will make you even appreciate a rink like the one at MTU or UMD. That being said if you can get tickets at the Ralph or from a scalper I recommend doing it.

Here is the funny thing to all of this Vanek is playing on the PK in Buffalo, I have watched the Sabres play a few times this season and there he was on the ice for the PK against the Wild.
-
Done, but there isn't any results to the poll.

And next season with Danny and Ryan going pro we won't have to talk about this crap again. I can't wait I am so bored with this discussion. Honestly since the two kids from ND went to play for the Gophers that is all some have talked about, I can't wait until we can once again pick up the Herald and not have to read about Ryan and Danny and the Gophers blah, blah, blah... Except for maybe a Sioux trounching of the Goofers. Honestly I think we have players that are just as good as the two mentioned Goofers.
-
Oh no your hated, don't kid yourself. Really honestly.
-
We don't have to worry about that till next season since we don't go to Madison this year.

I think tonight the Parise allowed the Gophers to take him out of the game. Jordy was too worried about all the extra b.s. I just was disappointed by his play and his mental game this weekend. As a goalie you can not let the opposing players take your mind off of the game. In retrospect Lammy looked pretty good in the third period and I suppose he has earned a start at the Glas this weekend. I hope the Sioux are ready to play this weekend losing to the Beavers is not an option and I can't imagine watching the game with my BSU buddies is we lose a game to the Beavers. I can beat the Beavs are going to come out flying and the opposition is going to be waiting for the Sioux. They have to be ready and focused. I hope Hak skates the crap out of them in practice this week and gets the team focused. That being said UND has to complain to the league office about the crappy officating that was displayed this weekend. There is no excuse for this type of officating. Apparently it is ok for the Gophers to have numerous players on the ice when UND gets nickled and dimed on the too many men on the ice penalties. The check on Chorney should have been called or at least the play should have been blown dead and there should have been a face off at least.

Karl G is now 2-2 for San Antonio with a .932 save percentage. Good to see the little goalie back again.
-
Its a city owned arena and I believe that is how they get around that rule.
-
Apparently the opposing teams like playing in our arena also.
-
As ussual you can't see the beginning of the game because of a non-important basketball game between to weak sisters of the poor. What gives.
-
I think UND needs to come out focused and stay out the penalty box. Also, I hope they guys move their feet tonight, get on Briggs and lets score some goals. The kid is not a good goaltender at all and last night Briggs is was not good either and the shot he stopped last night were logo killers, over the Sioux shot them at pipes. I feel that game last night was given away, merry friggen christmas Minnesota. Now I wish Stafford would put in a 100 percent effort every shift every night. Someone mentioned that he should be on a milk carton as missing I thought that was classic. Not making any excuses for the Sioux but the officials have to be more consistant in calling Penalties, Irman's check on big Mike last night was dirty and should have been a penalty like others had mentioned. If that had been Smaby, Matt would have been sent to the showers. I almost wish we were playing on the road were UND is like 6-1-1 and UND is some thing like 4-4 at home. So much for home cooking eh?

Where are PA and Dubay going to be Friday In Grand Forks?
Goon replied to Goon's topic in Men's Hockey
Quack, Quack... I forgot to mention other than it smokey as heck in the Long Haul Saloon, the steak and eggs was awesome. They made a pretty good bloody marry, which happened to be free. -
If just one of them went in it could have been a little different game.

Never, Never, Never... -
We are still going to win and losing to a EZAC team is not an option.
-
The Kessel Goal shouldn't have been counted I am sorry. But that being said, UND was flat tonight.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff Dubay today during the broadcast at the Long Haul Saloon. I have to say that Dubay is a really good guy. It was a lot of fun listening to the PA and Dubay show. I recommend going next season when the Sioux and Gophers play in Grand Forks again. -
FSN is doing their pre-game for the Wild and Pens from the Ralph, Greg Lotus was just on with the FSN announcer and Greg look pretty good with the mic in his hand. I think Greg has a future in Radio and Television. Nice touch they had done some good coverage of UND.

I like the fact that Hak is doing some good things with this team.
