If the playoffs started today UND would be in they are sitting in 12th place. With a couple of wins will move up to where ever. SCSU also tied and beat Minnesota so I am not worried at all, The Huskies aren't going far though when they have to rely souly on goaltending and that is the deal with the Huskies, they aren't good and our boys took them for granted.

That stupid Bracket thing doesn't mean crap right now. UND will be in the playoffs if they quite losing to crap bag teams like SCSU. I say no more Lammy in net Parise the rest of the way and we will be ok.

Actually I know of quite a few fans that come up from Fargo to see the games. I guess I didn't think it was such an issue. Some of them cheer for the Bison in the other sports like Football and Basketball. Now that they division one they really aren't our rival anymore.

Hockey being a contact sport I would expect the games to be physical. I am not so sure why the media in St. Cloud would write such articles, because the Fighting Sioux also play a pretty up tempo style of play.

I don't get the logic from Motzko, UND is the most penalized team in the WCHA however, there have been two DQ's all year, he must be using Donny Lucia logic. I know he has said that about UND in the past too. I would say most teams in our league play hard nosed hockey and a fight could happen at any moment if the refs let the play get out of hand like they did on Saturday night... Even the Gophers play hard nosed hockey, recieving one DQ for Harrington's scrum on Saturday night of the Niagra game. We can debate wether it was a DQ or not but it wasn't changed. Running the goalie is a trick I see happening a lot lately. Denver was doing it a lot too when they played UND earlier in the season. I have seen the Sterling runs over the years too. For a small guy Sterlin has a yellow stripe down the back of his jersey he is mean. , I am pretty sure he will cool it if he ever makes it to the NHL. If I remember right SCSU are not a bunch of choir boys. I can remember a series in 1998 or 1999 when they sent a player out to do a dirty deed that had to be responded to by Matt Henderson coming off the bench and pummeling a SCSU player. I can remember Blaiser on being asked if they sent that player out, said, you don't want me to answer that question. If I remember right Gaffenany got his ass kicked by someone I believe Commodore a few years back too.

I think the WCHA is going to get 5 teams in again this season and I don't see the CCHA getting 5 in. Besides in my opinion the EZAC is getting too much credit.

I think Alexander is a pretty good hockey players and look good during the Harvard series. I thought he skated real well with the puck and didn't make a bunch of mistakes.

The NCAA would never allow it based on their holier than though attitude.

I think everyone is over looking the BADgers this weekend, I don't see Minny taking 3/4 points against the BADders, their a defensive dynamo even without Elliot. I would be glad to bet a beer or something like that. I also think that UAA is going to get steam rolled by the Gophers.

Talk about wearing Maroon and Gold glasses. I would be willing to bet the Gophers have a good chance of getting swept this weekend.

This is what is happening, I think some are considering cross check and horse collars to be trash talk and that isn't true. Its called cheap shots or dirty play and must be responded to.

I believe in my HMO that Mankato got its butt handed to them last night. I was impressed with Radke standing up for one of his players. If you noticed Drew got the boys settled down at the end of the game so we didn't lose anymore players to the bush league tactics. This isn't over between our two teams.. In the future maybe coach will have to send out a player like Prpich, Kaip or Marvin to protect skilled players like Sparky. They call it picking your place. Hopefully PRP picks his time against Denver and Punkovich.

Maybe so but I think we are probably done with the thugs from Mankato. UND is definately a better team but stooped to their level. The thing that p!$$ed me off was an out right attempt to goad our stars not our tougher players, it was funny to see Prpich not in the middle of all the fighting and extra bs after the wistle. Seems kind of bush league to do it at the end of the game like that I can see the first game of the series thats fine. That is why I hate the fighting rule in hockey the big talkers/slash and hack artists can run their mouths all game without having to pay for it. I like the fact that they all stood up for each other, it shows character and guts. I also liked what I have seen the last three games. Don't worry we can beat SCSU without Sparky and Radke. We need to take the puck to the net on their big goalie too.

Mankato is a classless bunch of no talent hacks, their play this weekend was some of the dirties play I have ever seen in a WCHA game. Its obvious they can't stay with UND so they decided to Goon it up and take liberties with out skilled players. Sparky got a DQ (he has like three penalties his whole career) for being jumped and suckered, I am not sure he even threw a punch, it is hard to throw a punch when there is someone on your back. The play that resulted in the four DQ's looked as if it was a planned play to get our top players out of the game. I have no respect for Troy Jutting at all, the man is a bush league coach. His teams run their mouth up and down the ice and throw more cheap shot than Tie Domi. Thank God Radke pummeld that goon. Zelking should be ashamed of himself for letting this game get out of hand. Big Kudoos to team leader Drew Stafford for huddling the boys up and telling them to settle down and stay out of the extra B.S.
