I can't remember where I saw them at.

In listening to XM 204 Bob McKensie (sp) from the XM hockey channel and he basically said the Phil Kessel stock dropped from his in the WJC. Basically Bob said that he thought Kessel was over rated.

Zach scored a really nice goal last night. NJ is back in the playoff race.

I am not so sure if we want MTU to leave the WCHA, its basically 4 points every time we play them. Also, I could care less if they take the McNaughten cup with them or not. I am sure we could find something else. Isn't the Sitting Bull Throphy available?

Here is my question to the Sioux players, how can you not be excited to play the Goofers? It was apparent in the last game they weren't very excited. I would be a nervous wreak in class all week if I was playing in that game. I wouldn't be able to concentrate in class that whole week and I would come flying out on the ice to start that game. My emotions and adrenaline would carry me through the first game. Our guys came out flat and not prepared. How was really disappointedn they not be excited. Emotions should get them 5 goals alone this weekend.

This is true if this Fighting Sioux teams shows up. If we get the Sioux team that has showed up in various games this year, playing lacka dazel (sp), not moving their feet, this will not happen.

We better be carefull what we wish for.

Actually, I think I agree with you, I want to see Jordy in net because I feel he is a better goalie than Phil. No offense to Phil. I would just like to see Jordy to focus on the game and stop worrying about Stoa and the extra bs and play hockey. I am not sure if you guys can remember Jordy's first season against the Dirty Gophers; but Jordy was out checking a Gopher player against the glass. Classic freshman type behavior, but now he is a JR and needs to be a leader not a thug.

I am no doctor but is a hip flexor injury all that big of a deal? I know football players play with these all of time.

I do believe that Jordy wan't all that focused on his play that weekend and spent too much time worring about Stoa and how he was crowding the crease. I think that took some of his focus off of the game and enabled the goofers to cash in. Maybe some of our defensemen need to review some of last years playoff games and how you clear the front of the net without taking a penalty. Heck why not thump him take your two minutes, kill the penatly and see if Stoa keeps his antics up. I am pretty sure if he gets thumped enough times going in the crease he is probably going to find some where else to park himself. But your goaltender doesn't need to be worrying about it, that is why he has Defense men.

I am not so sure I could say his name either.

We might want to look at this series through green and white sun glasses, because I think UofMN is prime for the picking and UND only needs to split and hope for a few bounces and get a sweep. I think the later is possible. I have one word for you guys Briggs, he is not worthy of sniffing Parise cup in my opinion. When the games counted last season Jordy shine brighter than Briggs.

I actually like our chances against Minnesota, besides Minnesota is due some bad play/breaks. I think both teams are pretty even and our goaltending is better, I will take a Parise over a Briggs anyday. Parise > Briggs. Or a Parise > Frazee. Our defense is just as mobile and probably better defensively, UofMN doesn't have a player with Smaby physicality (Physical ability). Now I know UofMN fans are going to say we shut out Union and only allowed 3 goals against Niagra, please before you start you feasted on a weaker opponent, UND is going to bring it and they are going to be fired up.

Just for the record, UofMN except for UND has played some weak opponents. Lets face it Niagra and Union suck and UMass-Lowell isn't very good either. I wouldn't look to hard into the wins of the past few weekends. On the other end Woog basically said that UofMN should enjoy playing this weekend because it is going to be tough the next three weekend for the Goofers. I agree. UND, Wisconsin and C.C. I am glad UND hasn't had a schedule like that.

UND would make the tourney if the selection was today.

So GK are you a one man army? Who are you going to fight? UND. I didn't know you were part of the appeals process?

Actually I guess Karl is now wearing a more up to date mask in the AHL.

Islanders Blake out with injury.

I am not so sure this is a route we want to go down. I am not ready to call for Hak's head after 1 1/2 seasons based on his performance last season. This is a young team and I don't think we can lay all of the blame at the feet of the coach. The players have to take ownership for this play this past weekend as well as this weekend. I not quite ready to push the panic button, but if we get swept by the Goofers next weekend, I will be in the Panic mode.
