I also think that a few of these things will shake out in the next 4 weeks. It will be interesting to see if C.C. stays in the 6th place and if SCSU keeps winning relying solely on goaltending, after their top line they really don't have much. How much longer will they be able to run the hooking and holding and not get called for it... Mankato has done a good job beating up on crappy teams but I don't see them making much noise at the end of the season. I also think UND exposed them when they were here a couple of weeks ago. Wisconsin looks like a good team to play right now minus their top goaltender. UMD is really reeling after losing about 6 in a row. The time is now to just win against who ever your playing against. I think UND can do some damage in Denver if they just score first, I don't think The Pioneers are as deep as they were in years past. Settling a score with Punkovich might not be a priority when the teams meet in Feb. If they decide to do it get it over with so they can concentrate on winning the series and getting in the playoffs.

Apparently Drew didnt play the first game of the Regional when UND traveled to CC in 2004.

Maybe mention it to the players on Defense to shoot the puck and stop trying to make the pretty plays. Or someone should mention it to Hakstol, he seems to respond to TH from the radio crew. I don't know what else a person can do. I like the fact that our Defensive players have been smashing the opposition again. That to me is impressive. We have to two tree trunks back on defense.

In looking at the projected bracket, honestly, I think UND could make the frozen four with the teams they have projected as being in the regional. I know this this is a joke, however, I think UND would pound on UNO and could beat the Goofers. They don't scare me at all, and being UND played barely at all in their own barn and hung with them makes me think UND can beat them. Trust me UofMN doesn't want to play UND in the regional.

I did notice that Lee had two assists and Jones had one. I guess that is good that they are getting points. From the Radio it was apparent that UND was the better team, however, it is apparent that UND doesn't have guys on Defense that like the blast the puck. On a possitive note they scored on the PP right away and got right back in the game. That is huge in my opinion.

Nice to see that we are still stinking up the joint on face offs. Even Zajac lost two more than he won. Honestly I don't see how you guys can get into the Stats this much, I sucked at Math in HS and College. That is why I leave it to the smart people like you. Math just isn't my bag. However, I do like the fact that you do a good job explaining it to everyone.

One of the kids at BWW in Grand Forks assured me that he is 150% sure the UND game is on tonight. However, I am not sure anyone can be 150% if it isn't on anywhere but in Collorado springs.

I think UND can do it they just have to stop making excuse for themselves. C.C. is a good team but they have looked average the last three times I have seen them play even to a point I think UND if they come in with the right mental game could really take it to them and lay the woods to the Tigers. I think the players have to release themselves. I don't blame the coach in all of this. They have to want it. They have to prevail. All of the speeches and all of the motivation from the coaches will mean nothing if they don't want to believe in themselves.

I think it would be a huge read. They just need to skate and stop over handling the puck.

Does anyone know if the games will be on at BWW or at Dagwoods or any other bar in town?

I know in the past they have broadcast one of the games from C.C. in some years they have broadcast both games it appears we will not be thrown a bone at all this year.

For those that making the trip is the game going to be on TV in the Grand Forks Area? Does anyone know if it is or not? I can't find it in digital cable in Grand Forks. UMD and Wisconsin is on though.

Montoya has been shelled in the second period. I almost started the Sieve, Sieve chant. Danis looked really good. Lessard has scored a couple of goals and looks good.

I am not saying I am not going to any more games I just have given up hope of things turing around this season. I am still going to the Regional and the Final Five. That way I won't have any more anziety attacks if UND doesn't live up to my original expectations of making the Regional. I would just like to see them be there and have a chance.

I have given up hope for the season and have no expectations for this weekend. I expect UND to be home for the Final Five and the Regional. Anything other than that is bonus. I have already accepted the fact that this team can not win a close or important game. Last weekend is a perfect example. If they get a home series I can see them getting swept by a lesser team in their own building. Some will say this sound crass but they have proved nothing that says they will do any better.

Sparky has been held pointless in four straight games.

I think that about sums it up. UNEXCEPTABLE is another word that comes to my mind.
