I honestly don't think there should be any players in college that played in the professional ranks. ECHL is still professional. I think this is a load of crap.

I think there’s a lot of truth to that. After listening to an old boss of mine tell me the things they did in the good ole days is probably a major reason we have these rules, guidelines, and SOPs. I am wondering how coach Powers survives this mess. This is a travesty.

We don't want the NCHC to be the Summit Hockey League. The Summit is a mediocre at best Mid Major conference that teams seem to be dying to get out of. The NCHC stands on it's own with all of the NCAA titles that is has earned. I was told by someone in the know, that there was no interest in moving the NCHC to the Summit.

That's actually funny. I agree, too. I had a Thursday golf league match and tried to log on from the golf cart to discover that they game wasn't on. This was an epic fail on Midco's part.

I remember when we got to Saudi Arabia during Desert Strom, they had us get acclimated to the weather. I've read where some of these players haven't been there that long or given much of a chance to get acclimated to the area.

As someone that was in the military and went through boot camp during the summer at Fort McCellan Alabama, then did two preseason camps in college football. When it got to a certain temp in the Military we changed how we trained and drank a lot of water. When it got to a certain temp, we took buses or cattle cars to the ranges. Reading this article, a couple of flags came up. If this kid was struggling, he should have been taken out of the training and treated for a heat injury. I don't know, we only know what is reported and the truth will come out eventually. WTF, one water break. In football we drank water after every drill.

Speed limit or not, they're not supposed to be on the bike path. The Grand Forks Police Department should be enforcing that.

IRC, it was accurate from his perspective. Yeah, UND dropped the ball and should have jumped to FCS when NDSU did. Hindsight is 50/50, however, I also feel he's trying to get a rise out of UND football fans. Maybe it's a bit of a clickbait. I am not going to dissmiss everything he's saying. Take it for what its worth. I think it would be really hard to fully fund FBS Football and UND Hockey. One program would suffer and I've been told by someone higher up the food chain football doesn't get as much funding/money as UND hockey.

I agree that UND should've moved up to FCS football when NDSI did. Sure, it was short-sightedness by the UND Athletic Department.

What is the benefit of joining FBS Football? We already saw what happened to James Madison and how bad they were beaten in the FBS playoffs. UND is probably right where they need to be as far as Division I football goes. Feel free to tell where I am wrong, just saying. Do we really want to go play in a poorly attended mediocre bowl game or compete in the FCS playoffs?

I could find a reason to disagree with this statement; EJ will probably/should get top two if not top four minutes. His play last year improved vastly and will only compliment the incoming crew and returnees.

As someone that has two degrees from UND, my loyalties lie with UND. I can't under any circumstance(s) cheer for NDSU, Minnesota, Wisconsin, or DU in any sport.
