I will be missing the game due to an exam next week and the volleyball game later that night, but since it is my birthday Saturday, I say Defense comes up big and UND gets the win. 30-27.

I would hate to say it, but maybe the team gave up because the fans in the crowd gave up. Did you see how few people were around in the second half. Hard to continue with no home crowd.

Looks as though I will be dressed up nice for this game. I will be working on the sideline for the Dakota paper covering the cheer team. Hope the student section stays dispite the score. I for one will kinda miss not being in the stands. Being on the sidelines will be a memory though I am sure not to forget. Go Sioux. Black Out time.

I would be careful what you say on here. I personally have attended every football game game this year; in addiction to each of the tournament volleyball games and part of today's UND/NDSU soccer Match. Also I have to disagree with many of you. I see fans cheering, were as I have not been able to get regular fans sitting by the students off their feet. Even after we fell down late in the third by three tuchdowns I was working to get the crowd involved and not just the students.

It is kinda a side note, but wouldn't our players be better over all athletes then what we had during the days of division II play. We should not compare the two, as our defense could possibly play just as well in division II.

I do not think that the injury will be that big of a game changer. I still see us losing big. Hope I am way off though.

I know we lossed, but don't you all think we will get some credit from the polls?

I want to thank those of you that stayed around the whole game. I know we did not pull it out, but I think we caught the eye of Montana don't you.

I would rather play outdoors and watch games outdoor then indoors; however, it is nice when it gets cold.

I call for a loss. I think the offense will have a slow second qurture which will force us to play cech up. I also call for a dead fan-base in the second half. change the second prediction and maybe they can pull out the win. I spoke with a student, and he said "students leave early because of how long games are. It is also almost tradition for the students now." Lets change that around this week.

UND fans need to be at the game and need to make noise the ENTIRE GAME. You would be surprised what players are capable of doing with tons of fan support behind them.

Best game of the weekend. The UND women's team lost to Texas A&M, but not without a fight. The crowd was there and it was loud. Come on every buddy do the same next Saturday.

Any cheers I can start up tonight? I plan to call the following a few times after the starting lineup: The season is upon us the hunt begins tonight. I also will be cheering: It is time to set the trap and bring it all night. If we lose the first set I plan to call out It won't be easy and it won't be pretty, but UND will play all night.

Not to be pushy, but I agree that the general public needs to get into the game more. I personally was cheering from the student section almost every other play during the entire game; however, the general public was not into it at all. Yes the student section needs to stay past the sign up point for Nodak Nation, but the general public also needs to get in on the cheers that students start. To be honest I was kinda disappointed in both areas, as both the students and general public left after the first half.

I know the student section will leave anyway, so why not have starts play a half and then let the back ups play the second half. Limit the chances starters can get hurt.
