While I would like to see a 8-3 record as possible, I simply do not see it. I see us losing big to both Wyoming and NDSU and at least two maybe even three other games.

Is that in all sports or just football? It seems like our women's basketball and volleyball teams have each held their own in the conference. The men's basketball team also made it close to March Madness the past two seasons, despite the road losses.

I like that idea, but in order so people do not have to choose something they do not want they would need an option for try again or no mascot.

In reaction to the game, I am unsure I am happy with the win in overtime. Considering the team was up with just over three minutes left, I would have much rather had seen them hold off NDSU in regulation.

Students have a lot more on their plate then a few years ago. Many students find they are better off in the long run working, studying, or being apart of UND programs such as Chi Alpha, Studio One, Club sports, or student gov then spending all day at a game. Also when people do have off time, they want to attend a party like event to cool off such as at the Ralph.

You can't expect the players to be thinking a win if the fans are not able to. I will go 27-24 UND. 34-17 would not surprise me either though.

Yes, it may not be normal to have two away games; however, is it important to be right or important to bring the rival we all love back into existence. This is a rival not just a non conference match up. Home or away, win or loss I would be excited just to see it play out. In the same way, I would be fine seeing the hockey team travel to Minn twice just to play the Gophers.

UND fans may not like playing in Fargo twice, but the fact is they are the better team and have earned that power. Until UND proves otherwise , I see no reason not to play in Fargo. Get the series back and maybe by 2018 we will be on the same page.

The lack of home games early on could help the team prepair to play on the road come January after the disapointment the past few years.

This is off topic, but is Memorial open to the publicat all? I have gone to watch camp and some 7 on 7 play, but I have always sat outside the gate at the end of the stadium. Is it only open when the athletes are there, or can students go run on the track?

Greene's latest contract only makes me feel even stronger about the idea that athletes make too much. For me athletes are good because they inspire many, but because of that, I feel like the players should take a pay cut and give the left over funds to student organizations. Use Greene for example; does he really need 10 million to live. Ok make that 5 million with taxes, but still. I say a million is more then enough to live on when most families much less then that and are fine. donate the other four million or 4 million to a program that supports students and be a real role model. Many athletes often times donate to past organizations such as Engelstad and his wife, but it is not always needed.

I admit people of Florida know beaches and magical places; but do they really know the life of football?

What about hockey?

Can we play the first few games out doors and those of October and November in doors?

oh and by the way remember we are in different conferences, so really at this point the rival games are for pride only. Conference records are what matter most.

Not a NDSU fan but what about their basketball team. They may have lost to UND, but when it mattered most they went and won games in the Match Madness Tournament. Everyone has their sports and right now NDSU is on top in Football and men's Basketball/ UND is on top in volleyball and women's basketball. ( Others are open for debate.)

Students spend three hours or more outdoors waiting for hockey games in February. Why not in October? Either way, I hope the stadium stays around for a long time. I love seeing historic sites over new buildings.

Students seem to want it, and not just the fans. Many say they would go to games and even stay longer, if they were outdoors.
