I was informed there is going to be a dinning service meeting during the fan fest. Is there anywhere I can get the Sioux Poster for free or even at a small cost? I really wish I could be attending tonight.

I was unable to see any of the practice today due to work training; however, I ran into the players at the dinning hall, and they seem very pleased with how things are going. I am interest to see them next Thursday night.

I am moving into Swnason hall in the morning. Does anyone know if there is a fall scrimmage planned for this weekend?

I think UND needs to start the season 2-2 if they are wanting to make the playoffs. A 1-3 start will make it very difficult. Start 1-3 and there will be less fans there cheering on the team come October and the hockey season.

I like them. Although they do not say UND it has the ND meaning UND proud.

It is hard to tell how they are really doing. Like most coaches this time of year, the two coordinators spoke highly of the progress. Iguess the only way to really be sure is to play that second game. The first game will tell a little, but nothing real will be proved until then.

Reading today's notes, I am a bit down on the defense. The page mentioned that the offense broke multiple tackels and that is not a good sign for us.

Has anyone attended fall camp at all. Is the defense just better or much better then last year?

I will be in Grand Forks August 18. Will it be done by then? I hope not.

Sorry, but have you every seen a hockey game outside of Grand Forks. I am just guessing, but I do not think NDSU gets 10,000 fans to travel to every away football game.

I know UND has alot of home games, and that the defense seems to be doing better, but I don't see them reaching 7 wins this year. I think they need to go 2-2 the first first four games to even have a shot at the playoffs. Personally I don't see it. Montana may be the best chance for the second win, but after last season I see them shutting Harden down and taking the win. If I am right UND fans will come by that much less. If I am wrong the rest of the season will be rocking.

Has no one seen the historic film on the rival. Not restarting the match-up in a new way would be crazy. Ok don't use the coin and don't call it a rival, but play the game. Everyone will be amazed we didn't start up sooner when we do.

Living in Cheyenne Wyoming and seeing malls in the surrounding states, I can honestly say Grand Forks has a great mall. Growing up I always liked it, but after returning this past December to tour UND; I came to find out how much I love the mall. There was hardly any open space compaired to many malls; which, always seem to have unused rooms. I can not say I like the food court or not. I was more shocked when I say it. When I was growing up the Country Buffet was in the same location, so I was not expecting to see the food court. Blackheart I would say you are way out of line. People in Grand Forks should come see Cheyenne's mall, better yet go see the Fort Colons, Loveland or Greeley mall. Then tell me The mall is bad.

I am so excited. The Open drive will be one more way to make the next 11 days go by fast before I head out to Grand Forks.

I never new that. I guess it was just before my time. If that is the case then this would be the perfect year to bring them down and get it back.

Really someone from Montana State suggested it. I am surprised someone from that level would want to start a rival game at this point. I guess they are looking towards the future and not in present day like another school close by. UND is no where near the level of MS, but if someone says go for it I say why not.

Doesn't Montana and Montana state already play for something. I say have UNC and UND play for a travel trophy. The two teams have had close games in the past, and have had 2 last drive games in two years.
