This is off topic, but is Memorial open to the publicat all? I have gone to watch camp and some 7 on 7 play, but I have always sat outside the gate at the end of the stadium. Is it only open when the athletes are there, or can students go run on the track?

Greene is not a corporation. He is an employee.

Greene's latest contract only makes me feel even stronger about the idea that athletes make too much. For me athletes are good because they inspire many, but because of that, I feel like the players should take a pay cut and give the left over funds to student organizations. Use Greene for example; does he really need 10 million to live. Ok make that 5 million with taxes, but still. I say a million is more then enough to live on when most families much less then that and are fine. donate the other four million or 4 million to a program that supports students and be a real role model. Many athletes often times donate to past organizations such as Engelstad and his wife, but it is not always needed.

Wait what Big Sky is moving to FBS?

I admit people of Florida know beaches and magical places; but do they really know the life of football?

What about hockey?

Can we play the first few games out doors and those of October and November in doors?
-
oh and by the way remember we are in different conferences, so really at this point the rival games are for pride only. Conference records are what matter most.

Not a NDSU fan but what about their basketball team. They may have lost to UND, but when it mattered most they went and won games in the Match Madness Tournament. Everyone has their sports and right now NDSU is on top in Football and men's Basketball/ UND is on top in volleyball and women's basketball. ( Others are open for debate.)

Students spend three hours or more outdoors waiting for hockey games in February. Why not in October? Either way, I hope the stadium stays around for a long time. I love seeing historic sites over new buildings.
-
Students seem to want it, and not just the fans. Many say they would go to games and even stay longer, if they were outdoors.
-
Outdoor games anyone?

Why not have the first game in Fargo and then play every year at the home of the team that won the year before?

Is there a student bus to the game?

I do not know about the rest of you, but football is football. I am more then excited to be going.

With hockey done, it is 24/7 football time. Spring drills continue until the end of May, and then the games in the park begin.

Practice seems to going very well. I showed up early to practice Saturday, and coaches were out working with players on plays. The after mas of practice was fun too. Nice to see players staying behind to throw the ball around. Group seems to be gelling together.

Hoping for at least a small practice of some sort today.

I have to go with Minn. winning this one after their last two wins, but UND has surprised me so far this tournament so I wouldn't put it past them. Either way, I plan to cheer for the team who gets into the National title.Great job getting this far both teams.
-
yes I plan to continue attending everyday. Last two practices have been real fun and alive.

I too must apologize to him, his staff and team. I still do not see the team winning it all this year; however there is still reason to believe there is hope.

Hakstol has continuesly lead us to quit a few frozen fours and regional appearances. Unlike with the football team who had no life at all at the end of this past season, the hockey team continues to turn seasons around and that is why we are in no need for a new coach this year or next year . I feel as though a coach can only do so much, after that it is up to the players. Win or lose yesterday we made the tournament and beat Wisconson. That alone shows we are still in good hands. Multiple years in the tournament is better then a single championship followed by a drought.

I was unable to find the game yesterday.
