We won 5 NCAA titles in that "rusting hulk", the last one in 2000. Heck, we won two in the "The Barn" (a WPA project from the 1930's). We have won exactly ONE in the new REA. I remember in the years before the new REA, Gopher fans yammering on and on about how great Mariucci Arena was and how it was better than a bunch of NHL arenas and what a dump we were playing in. Yet, we won most of the recruiting battles against them from 1996 to 2001. You make way too many assumptions, Mr. SiouxVolley.

That is good to hear. I hate to see people struggle with alcohol and/or drugs. Good luck Coach Hardee.

Neither have I.

What are the ratings for Midco non-live sporting event programming? Do any of their non-live programs get good ratings?
-
Does KVLY's contract explicitly prohibit any other media company from having an NDSU coaches show? That is a good question to ask someone who knows. And I will jump all over Midco if needed. We signed a contract with them to give our programs coverage, so if they are canceling one of our coaches shows, I would like to hear the rationale. Nobody forced them to sign a contract that requires them to pay UND for coverage.

And these are our "partners" in television? With "partners" like this, who needs opponents. Will they replace this with a Bison football show?

You can never have enough running backs (injuries happen). Also, we can always move an unused RB to another position.

Preseason polls mean nothing anyway.

We have used black in our athlete uniforms for years now. Makes sense to use it for the band too.

That is a good example of what I was talking about, I am sure it is not the only example. -

Really? I thought it was about putting the best team we can on the ice so we can shut up the Canadians. Guess not. -

I heard some people during the WJC last year commenting on this topic. And it seemed like there was some nepotism going on. And yes, I know we won gold last year, but that doesn't mean there isn't some favoritism going on. -

Don't you understand? Some NHL Hall of Famer's kid has to have a spot on the team, so someone has to fall on the sword. And this time, it's Mismash. -
There is nothing worse than wasted potential.

WIH was an unfortunate casualty of bad coaching hires and state budget issues. I think we should focus on the positives.

Related to this topic: http://blogs.und.edu/und-today/2017/08/moving-forward-together/ It is much more fun to be a fan of this school's athletic programs now than it was just four short years ago.

You and me both.

Patience my friend. We will find out very soon who is and who is not on the team.

Good point. If he has clinical depression, that would explain a lot. I have struggled with depression and it is awful.

Let's try to be positive until we hear concrete evidence to the contrary. Until I hear it from Bubba's mouth, I will remain a skeptic.

Cripes, what the $#%^& is going on?

Feel better Irish?

We could have evening games in August and September, but the coaches don't like night games. We did them in 2001 when the Alerus Center opened and they were a blast.

Or maybe those rules don't apply to foreign professional teams?
