I will go with a split. Goofs are a soft team playing in a soft conference, but UND is a little disorganized right now, so can't predict a road sweep at The John. Wish we could have played them last year, those would have been two butt-kickings for the good guys.

I said COULD. I didn't say WILL. I did not expect this team to look this bad early on. I do think they have plenty of time to turn it around, but it won't happen right away and it is possible (notice I said POSSIBLE) that some of these younger guys may take all year to get up to speed. Sweeping the Goofs on the road next weekend is a good place to start a turnaround.

I don't believe I said this. But it is going to take some time for Berry and his staff to get this team up to a championship-caliber level. Can they do it? Yes. Will they? That all depends on how long it takes for the lines to mesh and for the young guys to mature.

Maybe Boeser is trying to do too much to compensate for our young guys. He just needs to play his game and not try to force things.

Yeah, I said that. That was in response to the media practically giving the NCAA title to Boston University because of the hotshot freshmen they have this year. Whether we are title contenders at the end of the season or not will depend on how quickly our young guys develop and get comfortable in the college game. I guess I didn't think we would look quite this bad early on. Being how tough the NCHC is, dropping the first two league games puts us in an early hole. How quickly our young players develop will determine if we have time to dig out of that hole or not.

I wasn't questioning your loyalty or dedication, unlike the fair-weather bandwagoners who won't show up until we are FCS title contenders. I agree with you, this team is not complete yet, but it is absolutely amazing how quickly Bubba and his staff have turned this program around. 2013 was absolutely embarrassing. But after 2 full recruiting classes, Bubba and company have us at the top of the Big Sky Conference. And yes.....In Bubba We Trust.

It is early, but this could be the first season we miss the NCAA tournament since 2002. And we may have to hit the road for the NCHC playoffs. I hope I am wrong, but this team needs a lot of work.

At least you finally acknowledged that we are 7-2 and 6-0 in the Big Sky Conference. Otherwise, anyone who didn't know what the final score was would think we got blown out at home by reading your post. Come on, we are relevant in FB for the first time since before the Division I move. Try to enjoy it. And you seem to forget some of the embarrassing losses in 2013; those were way worse than anything we have done this year. And as for the attendance, it is apparent that this team could win every home game with a shutout and it still wouldn't convince some people to go.
