You aren't going to get fans back with one competitive season following years of losing 90+ games. People are taking a wait and see attitude towards this franchise.

This is why "zero tolerance" rules are a bad idea and almost always lead to negative, unintended consequences.

The other posters are suggesting mainly Division II schools as possible candidates to add hockey. And FWIW, I was a student at Central when they dropped "Redskins". Any other insipid points you want to make troll?

Yeah, when I think North Dakota and College Hockey, I think about Bemidji, Mercyhurst and Mankato in the next breath. I know it is the off-season and your are bored, but please try to find something more productive to do than troll SS.com.

Me and my parents used to live there before I was in grade school. It was surrounded on the south and west sides by farmland back then.

Yeah, it would have been nice. But Rome wasn't built in a day and UND football won't be built in one recruiting season. I am just enjoying the ride.

Get off the ledge please. Bubba is doing a fabulous job rebuilding this program. He is entering his 4th year at the helm. I don't think Roger Thomas was beating NDSU head-to-head in recruiting four years in either. I trust this coaching staff based on what I have seen so far.

Looks like Amherst will be a program to watch in the coming years.
