This is part of the problem with rebuilding a program. You have to start guys younger than you want to. As we build more depth, we won't have to start freshmen and true freshmen at key positions as much. We are still building some depth in this program. Last year was a bit of a surprise with how far we went.

Nobody is going to argue with this. I sure won't. But I will be there next Saturday as always.

Just what we need, more freaking injuries. We'll be pulling more redshirts off of the scout team if this keeps up.

That is what happened to the Vikings last year. Defense was on the field three-quarters of the game. Not a recipe for winning.

It's obvious USD is on a roll right now and we weren't prepared for the atmosphere down there. The last thing we need is to have a losing season and take steps backward.

Somehow, I don't think USD will finish that low in the MVFC. They look like a playoff team right now. Whether they can keep winning is always a question mark.
