University of North Dakota 2018-19 Season

Not as much as Bill Chaves has getting this athletic department out of the gutter (volleyball is exempt from this). -

It's hard to believe that Sandy was Blais' right-hand man when he took over in 1994 and rebuilt the program. How things have changed. -

I must concur with this. Berry knows full well what the expectations are here, so expect him to make some serious changes during the off-season. -
What sights? This isn't Tampa, you know.

Even the best of programs have years like this. But yeah, I see your point. Might as well start the 2018-19 and Thank You Seniors threads. -
But according to Brad Schlossman, you are "living in the past". (sarcasm) For the record, I agree with you 1000%
-
Keenum yes. Bradford....not so much.
-
He's being Mr. Contrarian for the sake of being Mr. Contrarian.
-
But can he hold up over a 16 game schedule? That is the big unknown. The Vikings have a tough decision to make with Teddy and Sam Bradford.
-
LOL, I call it that too!
-
It wasn't an ordinary injury. The man almost lost his leg! Whether he can even perform anymore is anybody's guess.
-
You neglected to mention that Cousins has been stuck playing for one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the NFL. Tom Brady couldn't turn the Redskins into a winner, not with man-child Daniel Snyder as the owner of the team.

Good suggestions. I agree 100% with all of them. -

Because Denver is the darling of the league. Didn't you get the memo? -
He writes it to get clicks, because that is what sells advertising. But shutting Lakesbison's mouth is a definite bonus!

NORTH DAKOTA vs. uno mavs - GAME 2 GAMEDAY

Let's just win the Frozen Faceoff and make the PWR irrelevant. -
Then why Denver? The Goofs weren't interested in him?
-
I hope your Team Canada jersey came in time for the Winter Games. Too bad they lost to the Spoiled Entitled Whiners. (extreme sarcasm)
-
But then they would be skewered on this forum for "spending other people's money". They can't win.

NORTH DAKOTA vs. uno mavs - GAME 1 GAMEDAY
fightingsioux4life replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
It will take a series sweep this weekend and at least one win at the X to keep the NCAA streak intact. The only sure way to accomplish this is to win the Frozen Faceoff. -
Women's Hockey was losing an incredible amount of money. Way more than FB, WBB, MBB or MIH. If the deficit would have been much smaller, we wouldn't have abolished it. But it just wasn't sustainable, which was a tough deal for everyone involved. I will say that some people on this forum have enjoyed the demise of UND Women's Hockey just a little too much. Call it necessary, call it a good move, but don't celebrate it. It is nothing to celebrate.

They earned those World Championships. They earned those Olympic Medals. So please don't make it sound like those things were handed to them on a silver platter. Did the ice time at REA help them achieve those things? Absolutely. But the Lammy twins are fighting a much bigger battle than getting ice time. They are fighting for future generations of female hockey players, who may not have the same opportunities they have had if they don't speak out. And they have been very grateful for the support they have gotten from everybody in this area; so please do not imply that they are ungrateful and spoiled. Everyone who knows them and/or has worked with them will tell you otherwise. I supported eliminating WIH because of the staggering amount of red ink it took to keep it going. But I also support the Lammy twins for promoting and advocating for access to hockey for girls and women. That is what will make women's hockey more competitive, popular and yes, affordable, in the long-run.
