  1. If Klabo (the best player on the team) leaves, then so should Brewster.
  2. Which proves that coaching matters and you can win with a team that is greater than the sum of its parts.
  3. This describes our relationship with Minnesota-Twin Cities. I don't know if it describes our relationship with Minnesota-Duluth. #justmy2cents
  4. This wasn't a freshman transferring. This wasn't a player transferring because she didn't get playing time. This was a Junior, soon-to-be Senior transferring and who was an important player for the team. That is a huge red flag. The fact she is willing to sit out a year to play one season with Montana State tells you how unhappy she must have been. And I hope Brewster is paying attention.
  5. Philly sports fans are among the meanest, nastiness in all of sports.
  6. The off-season is still young my friend.
  7. Not to mention blocking a ton of shots. Lots of ice packs being used tonight.
  8. The 2015-16 NCAA title team also had a group of stud defensemen. So we shouldn't overlook it at all.
  9. It's such a downer that we don't have a GDT to post on today.
  10. I was just thinking that myself!
  11. I guess we'll find out soon, huh?
  12. If Denver loses no one early this off-season, it will make me wonder why. #thingsthatmakeyougohmmm
  13. Rocco never seemed to live up to his potential in college. In the NHL, he has been up and down. Overall, I think he is making the most of what he has to work with.
  14. Okay, I better figure out where I put my brain. Post has been deleted. I think I need a nap.
  15. "But all we care about is Wisconsin!" (sarcasm)
  16. Oh okay. Sorry, I will delete the post.
  17. Careful, this is an argument for kids to not play college hockey at all. #majorjuniorsucks
  18. More playing time wouldn't hurt, either.
  19. Depends on how successful their career was after leaving early.
  20. Is that a performance-based bonus?
  21. Jost is an interesting case, as the Avalanche were in the toilet as a franchise and had nothing in the cupboard to begin with. He was almost guaranteed to play in the NHL. Otherwise, I don't think he would have left. Parise would have stayed in school if he knew the lockout was coming for 2004-05. So he was stuck in the minors for that year.
  22. Some former players have come back and talked to the team about the perils of leaving school early, because they left early and wish they hadn't. Unless you are a sure-fire NHL starter or are really close to being one, they should think twice about leaving early. Otherwise, I hope they invest their signing bonuses wisely.
  23. I mean besides the obvious cases (Toews, Oshie, Boeser). The borderline guys who will likely ride the buses in the AHL or ECHL for years and may never get a shot at the big-time. I don't think we have any sure-things on the roster this year.
  24. Name one player from the past who left early and does not regret it.
