Claiming to be "national champions" this year is no different than all the Pre-College Football Playoff "national champions". It's just like MLB in 1994, no champion this year.

All I said is that current NCAA student-athletes get an extra year of eligibility because of all this. Nothing more, nothing less.

Those are good questions. I just think we need to do what is best for the student-athletes that are in college now. Graduating seniors deserve another shot at winning conference and/or national titles. Not to mention the memories and experiences of being on a team.

I think the NCAA should grant an extra year of eligibility for all student-athletes no matter the sport. They are being cheated out of playoff games and post-season tournaments because of something completely out of their (and their school's) control. Push the reset button on eligibility and give these young men and women another year.

The NCAA tournament games are being held without fans. I have not heard anything from the NCHC regarding their tournament.

Until I hear from the NCHC, I am not changing my plans. They better make a decision on that this week.

Agree 100% That being said, if the NCHC Frozen Faceoff is held as scheduled with fans, I will be there.

I would rather be prepared for something that doesn't happen than not be prepared for something that does. If nothing happens, I won't have to get groceries for a long time (not a bad thing). If something does happen, I will be prepared. And it's not like non-perishables like bath tissue are going to spoil. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

I want a decisive two game sweep. No Sunday game this year please. I don't care how hard it is to "end someone's season". We can and should sweep this series.

I think last Friday's game was a result of a letdown from Senior Night and clinching a share of the Cup. Saturday took on increased importance because they wanted to win the Cup outright (no sharing), and you saw the results. I won't start being concerned unless they look flat this weekend and next.

This is what I have been thinking this morning as well. Now we have a chance to ruin NDSU's season.

Have to disagree with you on Minnesota. It's like Alabama-Auburn in FB. Anytime they lose (either to us or someone else) is a good day. Screw YOU Ski-U-Mah!

That sounds like something I would have done also.

Private schools should be required to play with the big schools. Unlike public schools, they can admit or not admit whomever they want. That means they can essentially "recruit" kids. They can also control their enrollment to keep them below the AA threshold. You saw this with St. Thomas Academy a few years ago until they finally moved up.
