That game was insane!! What an awesome Regional that would have been to attend. Especially considering it was in Denver and packed full of Sioux fans!!!

Maybe this has been said before, don't have time to scroll thu all the pages, but here is my take: These numbers of people dying from COVID-19 are grossly over inflated. The biggest reason why is they are counting everyone that dies WITH COVID-19 ad a Coronavirus death. Not necessarily people who died FROM COVID-19. See the difference? If a stage 4 cancer patient who was given 2 moths to live in February dies today and they do a test and find out they have COVID-19, that goes as a coronavirus death. If an 80 year old man in a nursing home dies from a heart attack today and they run a test and find out he had COVID-19, it goes a coronavirus death. These hospitals are doing a disservice to everyone reporting these deaths as Coronavirus deaths. The overwhelming majority of COVID-19 deaths are people with some other pre existing conditions. Hospitals need to report the primary cause of death. If they did, the number of actual COVID-19 deaths would be drastically lower.

Any other year, Panzer would have won the Hobey. But Ryan Miller had arguably the best season by a goalie in college hockey history. Yeah it sucked that Panzer didn't win it, but can't really blame the voters for awarding it to Miller looking at his stats from that year: 31-5-4 record (NCAA record for winning percentage) .950 Save percentage (NCAA record) 1.33 GAA (led nation) 10 Shutouts (NCAA record)

I get what you mean. But having that era logo consistent on all the banners looks better than displaying multiple logos with only slight differences. Heck, the Brien logo changed over the years. The new banners look great.

The "blackhawk " logo UND used on the jerseys in the 70's/80's is the one on the banners of those years where UND won a Championship. Not the current Chicago Blackhawks logo.

Hang a small "banner" that is black with "2020" on it it in white letters. Put it next to the retired numbers. Would recognize the season that ended early.

Based on how this team this year, how it ended, and how many guys we got coming back, this may be the most anticipated seasons of UND hockey in a long time!!! It's barely April and I am already excited for next year!!!!

Conspiracy theory back then was their "flight delay" had more to do with Ralph Engelstad taking the boys out after the game than actual plane difficulties. Not sure if anyone else had heard that story, but I had some pretty well connected sources that said that was likely the case.

I think the way this season ended and the potential of this team to win it all this year will play a huge roll in whether guys leave early. "Unfinished business" rings even more true for next year. This team next year will go out and try to finish what their goal was at the beginning of this last season....winning a National Championship. Hopefully those on the fence to leave will have the same mentality as Gooch.

Yeah, that was Herbstreit who was saying that. He has bought into the hype of all this. Living in fear is no way to live our lives.

So .00007 of Minnesota has positively been infected. So much doom and gloom numbers out there. Just putting it into perspective.

So I am not sure if there is any uproar from the students about moving the student section. But one thing that they need to realize is the students of UND from 2001 - 2019 really had a pretty sweet setup. they had prime seats at the 50 yard line. How many college football stadiums have that sort of deal with the student section? Very very few. Virtually non at the FBS level. It was only a matter of time until they were moved due to potential revenue possibilities or lack of attendance. Also people need to remember where the student section was located at Memorial Stadium? Endzone to the 25 yard line on one side. Also not meaning to start any conspiracy theories, but I think it's only a matter of time before the student sections in 108 and 109 are put up as Champions Club season tickets and the students are all moved to the upper bowl. For both reasons mentioned above.
