The teams playing the evening game on Friday will have less rest than the teams they will playing on Saturday. Playing the early game is not ideal for fans, but it is in the best interest of the team in order to succeed. Selfishly we can complain, but really it's not too hard to get behind this logic.

But if the coaches want the early game, than we really can't complain. The loser of the second game definitely is at at a disadvantage having to turn around and play the afternoon game the next day. Being the #1 overall seed and having to play the potential Big 10 Regular Season and Tournament champs in the first round when it is basically a home game for them would be pretty ridiculous. So I guess the question is what is more important? Keeping the #1 seed closest to home, or matching them up with the #16 seed?

So is the new Fighting Hawks logo going to be on the 2016 NCHC Championship banner? Should it be? Will fans boo a National Championship banner being raised to the rafters with the Fighting Hawks logo on it?

I always find it funny that NDSU fans in 2003 were mad at UND fans for saying that the Bison would never be able to compete at the FCS level and would not even come close to winning a National Championship. And, now they are saying the exact same thing about UND football.
