Off topic and also not sure if this has been addressed here yet, but what is UND's official classification in regards to the Big Sky in football for the next 2 years? We are playing a conference schedule, but can't win the autobid for winning the Big Sky. Can we claim a Big Sky Championship if we go say 8-0 in "conference games"? So we count as conference games for our opponents? Also, are we considered a Big Sky team or are we technically an independent for 2 years. Just wondering.

Phase II needs to get done so we can move on to Phase III.

The coaching issue is not really an issue in regards to ASU joining the NCHC. 3-4 years of finishing at the bottom of the league and the problem will sove iteself and new/better coaches will be brought in.

If and when UND unveils their mascot, can we save this picture for the "it could have been worse" response?!!

Teams like Ohio St get rewarded for winning their conference Championship game in a P5 conference and teams like Alabama get rewarded for having a great season but failed to win their conference. Trying to see the silver lining for a season that has so much promise but has turned into a total disaster. Yes we had injuries beyond what any thought was imagineable. We had guys put into starting roles that were at least a year or two from being ready. So, does giving guys game experience before when they are freshmen and sophomores help them moving forward? Will being thrown into roles early in their career help them be better prepared and make them better in the long run? just trying to salvage some positives from this season!

Big 10 matchup between 2 ranked teams with an enrollment of over 50,000 students and Michigan St can’t even fill their student section. Sure it’s a noon start locally. But still. Shows that student attendance problems are prevelant all over the country.
