  1. I am going to bet that the actual hat looks more like the actual logo than this one does. Remember this is most likely not an actual picture.
  2. Ok, how bout apples to apples comparison!
  3. The new font is better than the old one in my opinion. More importantly, it matches the jerseys of other sports as well.
  4. I wonder if they will ever switch it up and go with the black logo on the green helmets.
  5. Still seems odd that they still don't have anything on the helmets. Oh well. Not a huge deal. Just odd.
  6. The last Sioux jerseys in 2011 were the lighter (correct) green. I agree. This should be the color of our green jerseys.
  7. I really am looking forward to seeing these new jerseys with the numbers and names on them. These are definitely better than the previous jerseys. The font really makes them pop. Look at the other jerseys with just wording on it that someone previously posted. Boston College, BU, Denver, etc....its all just plain text. This font is different and as a result, better IMO. Looking forward to personalizing one of these. Now just to decide which one to get!!!
  8. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=204985525&DB_OEM_ID=13500 Under "Tailgating Rules and General Info" All tailgaters must be moved into assigned space(s) 2 hours prior to kickoff.
  9. UND Football @UNDfootball Replying to @mrlentz23 New this year the tailgate lots will open at 8 a.m. for each game, regardless of kick time.#PledgeYourLoyalty 9:03 PM - Aug 16, 2017
  10. Veteran leadership, Cup cred, gritty center that can fill in in case of injury. I like it!! Go out as a 4 time Stanley Cup Champion and bring the Cup to Minnesota!!!
  11. You would still have to have reserved spots in each zone. I think that complicates things more than fixes them. The solution to tailgating is to get people with tailgate spots excited about tailgating. So much so that they are waiting in line to get in the lot when it opens. We are headed in the right direction for fan interest for football. The tailgate issue should improve as a result.
  12. 2.5 hours it a bit extreme. But I am in favor of closing it 1 hour before kickoff. If you have a tailgate pass and are showing up 30 mins prior to kickoff, you aren't using it for its intended use. But more importantly, you are driving in the most crowded part of the lot with thousands of people walking around that now have to avoid you because you are showing up late. Not sure if this is a huge problem, but I have seen it happen.
  13. Well, it can't hurt!! Glad to hear that there are people on the committee that are monitoring this thread. There really are some pretty good ideas here.
  14. Bubba Schweigert @BubbaSchweigert Game Day Committee meeting today to help pack the Alerus Center! #pledgeyourloyalty#daybyday I just replied to this tweet by Bubba with a link to this thread. Hopefully he checks it out and brings up some of the ideas mentioned!!
  15. Its there, but it is black, so it blends in with the rest of the black part of the logo.
  16. So @UNDFootball recently tweeted that the reserved tailgate spots have sold out. It's great that they are able to sell these spots completely out, but now the next step is to make sure they are used correctly. We all know about the people that use their tailgate spot as a reserved parking spot and show up 30 minutes prior to kickoff. They have every right to use the spot as they please, but that is not the intended use. One solution to maybe solve this would be to sell tailgate spots in quantities of 2 or more. Sure people could still use them for just parking in, but it would discourage it from happening and maybe encourage people to use the spot for tailgating. Also, one thing that the Fargodome is starting this year is issuing tailgate passes for each individual game. That way, if you can't make it one week, you would give your pass (or sell it if you can) to someone else without worrying about getting your pass back for the next week. Obviously for Bison game, you are going to have more success selling a tailgate pass. But at the Alerus, I think it would help eliminate the empty spaces for people that can't be at the game or that can't come early to tailgate. If you aren't going to make it, give it to someone else so the lot can be full without the large gaps between tailgaters because of people that can't make it.
  17. The football team got these jerseys a couple years ago before the new font came out. It is expensive to replace football jerseys. Especially when you have 3 different jerseys per player. Eventually they will get new ones with the new font. What is the point you are trying to make again?
  18. Those jerseys were purchased before the new logo and script came out.
  19. New patch on the jerseys this year!
