My cousin found 4 lower bowl today for $450 each, so they are out there. I think after selection show on Sunday a lot more will flood the market.

How can you say in one sentence you don't see the attraction and then the next that you've never tried it??? I'm not saying it's good or bad, but to have an opinion you better have tried it.

Part that concerns me is that once the Big Ten hockey conference gets started hockey won't be playing UMTC or UW either. Now maybe they wouldn't schedule us regardless of names since they love to have home games and we'd want home and homes, but that is a maybe.

Isn't this the second year in a row there? If so was it this bad last year? And how did they get it again? I had always thought that the Great West tried to spread things around.

I've been thinking about this as well. Seeing as how the championship was on a Wednesday night I think it could be in the Ralph. As an aside; to make the Ralph not seem so big couldn't they curtain the upper deck? I thought they had talked about doing this early on.

I know the Strib was raising a big stink about it a few years ago and St. Thomas' excuse was that they have like 500 students so they shouldn't be. Problem is that it's 500 BOYS which is more than many single A schools have for students (boys and girls). I do see that they are listed as having over 1000 students but I think that is because MSHSL doubles it. Still surprised they don't move after being at state every year. Them and Breck should at least be forced into same section. Breck may be small but tough for public school to recruit against them. I may be wrong on this, but the problem with Minnesota is that the AA is limited to 64 teams. So some larger schools end up playing single A because some smaller like Roseau play up. I see Alexandria is in single A now and they are over 1000 kids 9-12. Bemidji was playing single A couple years ago. They were twice the size of any school they were going against in section 8!

Means they can just recruit 13 more. Why they and St. Thomas Academy still play single A is ridiculous. Good for TRF. Thought Section 8 was down so that was nice to see.

They win 65-60 over Montana. Pretty cool to have it at home with the fans able to rush the court. Started in Big Sky in 2003 (I believe) and first time heading to NCAA's.

And I believe defensemen Gage Ausmus from EGF. Though he was injured throughout end of season.

The secondary internet markets for tickets have really hurt these teams for trying to sell their alloted and paid for tickets. They can't get rid of their block of tickets for full price when fans can get on StubHub and get a ticket for cheaper.

Section 8 playoffs were tougher than the actual state tourney.

So what was the deal with today's game? Score didn't seem so good through most of second half.

Is that for nation as well? I'm sure that number will only get bigger. Anyone know if the UW numbers are legit or some sort of ticket season packages sold?

My cousin from Los Angeles called today saying what a cool idea this was and how him and his buddies checked it out last night and they aren't hockey people.

With the economy it's tough to get into the military as many college degree people are joining. They are full and don't want high school kids. This is what I'm hearing from the Navy.

My guess is just to make sure it crossed line. It seemed to bounce back pretty quick.
