One thing that I noticed about NDSU that I like is that they all wear the same shoes. It's a small thing but makes them seem like more of a team. We have players wearing all kinds of different shoes. Really not a huge deal just something I noticed.
Makes sense. I think Shields could be a candidate too. Reminds me of the Gentry situation a few years back. Could have probably received more playing time and isn't from the area.
On the Herald Live Chat today somebody asked about possible player defections from this team. Tom Miller responded with, "With a tough season like UND just experienced, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some defections."
I am just wondering who some of those candidates could be?
The players people would worry about are Hooker, Cashman, Shields, Seales and Crandall. If any of them decide to move on, fine. One step back to take 1,000,000 steps forward.
My question is why do more fans show up for a game at the Ralph rather than the Betty? Doesn't really make sense to me other than the games at the Ralph seem to usually be advertised a lot more.
I just don't even know why we have to post in this. As I said before, if you have any sort of basketball knowledge you would know that our record would be better with a different coach. We just keep repeating the same thing over and over. 3 years of above .500 basketball is not acceptable and should not be at this university.
Do you have a list of players in the conference you would take over him? Obviously Harvey, probably Bolomboy, and the transfer at Montana but I honestly cannot think of a lot of other players. The guards from Sac State are nice but I believe Hooker will be better when he's a senior, may even be better now. Senglin from WSU could be put ahead of Hooker too but I have not seen that many players come to the Betty and make me think I would rather have him than Quinton. Yanku from NAU was also impressive but I would definitely take Hooker.
I really hope these two live up to the hype given on here. Who all has seen Crandall play? Wasn't that prolific of a score on DeLaSalle but he didn't have to be because that was a good team. Very underrecruited, don't know if he even had any other D1 offers so I'm just hoping he's half as good as people are expecting!
I agree completely about Shanks. Should be very good down the road. Has a nice shot. Hasn't made many threes this year but clearly is capable of making them. He should watch Frank the Tank and model his game after his. Probably not quite as agile and mobile but both can stretch the floor.
