I never referred to him as garbage but let’s not fool ourselves thinking because Mel Kiper had him going in the first or whatever he was going to. I guarantee he never saw a minute of his film. The stats popped because he was opportunistic but not act like he was ever some shutdown corner.

I don’t think his normal self was ever as good as advertised.

This made me remember how much I hate those stupid nascar numbers.

Unfortunately I think you may be mixing up the North Dakota schools. UND has one FBS upset in beating Wyoming a few years back. I think most UND fans don’t have a whole lot of faith in this one being close.

Do we have any young CBs in the system that we can look forward to maybe turning around our secondary? I know Odom is getting his shirt pulled, how’d he look?

I wasn’t at the game, I listened and watched a bit but my limited assessment is that we could be good but we are missing a key part and that is a secondary. Teams are going to gouge us through the air.

This game could very easily be 21-21. I thought our D was soooo far ahead of our offense in that scrimmage.

Opinion on the new setup?

Pumped for the game! Unfortunately won’t be able to make it but hoping to get to Fargo in time to watch at least the first half. Can’t wait to see some of the new players on offense.

Now that Ketteringham has been named starter, I am wondering what people think his stats will be? I am thinking something like 2,200 yards passing with about 20 TDs? Maybe that's a bit aggressive I don't really know.

Wow Grover wasn't really in my sights clearly by my post. For some reason I thought he had to sit out this year but realized that's dumb, he was a JUCO.

I personally would prefer Ketteringham. I know a lot of people were happy with what Zimmerman provided last year but I wasn't all that overly impressed. I am really interested in seeing Boltmann getting some action though this year, kid has a bright future.

I know that the SFI guys (I am going to continue to refer to them as that) had mentioned that Rudy was hoping to name a QB by practice 15 or 16. Practice 15 is going on today so I wouldn't be surprised to hear something tomorrow.

I know this has been a nonstop topic but I am hungover on a Sunday and just want to talk football. Andrew Zimmerman - Played in 4 games last season, no starts. Finished the year completing 21 of 41 passes for 339 yards and 3 TDs against 1 INT. Nate Ketteringham - Has 17 collegiate games under his belt completing 55% of his passes for 3387 yards 24 TDs and 15 ints. Had a down sophomore year compared to his freshman year. Brock Boltmann - Best athlete of the three, I know Studsrud has been his comp a lot because of the mobility but it sounds like Boltmann may be a better passer? I seem to recall Tom Miller saying that he hasn't seen a freshman QB like him or something like that. Noah Wanzek - Completed 2 of his 3 career passes for 30 yards and 1 touchdown.
