Right. Except if your not one of the best teams and there happens to be an upset in your bracket, meaning you get to play a worse opponent, and possibly at home now because you're ranked higher. That never happens, though.

It was a nickname of a college.

You're deep.

A game I remember was the 1990 Regional Finals vs. Metro State. The Slop was rocking. IIRC, Metro jumped out to an early lead on like 4-5 quick buckets and one was a backdoor alley oop dunk. The crowd was looking at each other like "oh sh*t". But, then UND got in their groove and won the game to go to the Elite Eight.

I saw on Heraldo live chat that three girls quit at semester break. Who were they?
-
When did I say anything about the nickname in that post?

If you think this thought process is new then you haven't been paying attention . people are finally stating what they have been seeing. Whether right or wrong.

I heard on radio that points in the paint were like 28-22 UND. That is unbelievable considering who we were going against and the foul trouble our bigs got in. Avants is the hardest working, most overachieving player I have seen in a long time.

I haven't been as critical as anyone about Jones in the past. But I will admit he deserves credit for what is going on right now. They are playing very good, sound basketball.

Don't have to look far to see it works both ways. ^^^^^.

Personally, I am not at all. Know your enemy. And who offered their soldiers. That is my philosophy.

Duluth is not empty. The left end is full and sides are about 75% full. Decent crowd.

NDSU related...I see they suspended Dupree for all of a week and a half. Boy that really taught him a lesson. Kid publically quits team, complaining about his role and it looked bad. Then, when another guard gets hurt Richman puts him right back in uniform. Those stipulations he met must have been really tough.

It's 25 million now?

LOL. OK chief.

Juco transfer, right?

So which one of these guys knows about research?

Can't a President/CEO of a company hire people who know a few things about the things he doesn't? CEO's of major companies seem to move around, mainly because they know how to run a company, not because they know the product.

I keep reading about people questioning Shanks and so forth. Here is my take: I like him. He is a 7 footer who needs to develop, he is only a sophomore. If he was developed he would be playing in East Lansing. He has athletic ability but just needs more and more reps in all situations for muscle memory and experience. His first initial move/footwork is very good and fairly quick. He usually beats the defender to where he wants to go. But, his finishing is raw and is what needs work. Gym time. The first bucket of the game yesterday where he led the defender into the paint, did a quick dropstep back to the baseline, then powered up to the crotch instead of fading to the baseline was awesome. textbook post play. But he needs MORE of those simple post setups. Throw it into him on the block and let him work with some space. 5 times a game, maybe? Plus, he plays with passion and cares about the team and UND. That much is evident. Like Art pointed out, he is not a pick and roll top of the key guy. he is an old school post player.

All I said was the optics, which Mike McFeely loves to blame while defending Lord Dean, appear bad in this one. Right or wrong.
-
The "optics" of this one keep getting worse: “I flew halfway across the world with a three-star general who was going to be second in command in Afghanistan, and we flew coach,” Hagerott told the Associated Press. I contacted Gov. Jack Dalrymple’s office regarding their policy on first-class travel. “The governor’s office purchases coach only for governor, lieutenant governor and all staff,” spokesman Jeff Zent told me. In fact, Lt. Gov. Drew Wrigley was in Israel on state business while Bresciani was visiting India. Wrigley, Zent confirmed, got a coach class ticket.

Would have been huge to get that one. I do think the long trips wore them down. Ridiculous to have Flagstaff/Cedar City and Greeley in back to back weeks.
-
I watched it again. They faked the screen and roll, then vacated the middle to allow Hooker to drive and score. 100% setup for him to drive and win the game.
-
My point was he is 0-3 now on potential game winning shots. All were drives deep into Lane that didn't have a chance in hell. Maybe you knew that, if so sorry. What was wrong with giving it to Drick, who they absolutely could not guard at end?
