From my understanding if they had determined that Kawaguchi's penalty was only a minor they couldn't call anything but since they determined it was a major they were able to call it even though none was called on the ice during play.

Do these announcers know the game is on TV and people can see that UND hasn't actually committed 12 uncalled penalties so far.

Rauhauser would be in the same category. Would be nice kid to have being from Bismarck but wonder what his development would have been here his first two years as his ice time would have likely been limited?

bingo. It is why Gopher fans struggle when they lose because they have watched those kids dominate at the bantam and high school level for so long.

I think they knew what the problem was. They just didn't do a good job of fixing it. Holmgren wants to win now and trade prospects from their now deep farm system while Hextall who rebuilt their farm system didn't want to do that. They had used 5 goalies in their first 23 games. They have their goalie of the future in 20 year Carter Hart playing his first season in the AHL right now and don't want to rush him to the NHL.

I would say that our issues on offense this season first became pretty apparent during the Sam Houston State game

Hak got them to the playoffs twice in 3 seasons and expectations were to continue on the upswing this season which they still could. Hextall's major thing to accomplish this year and next was to find a goaltending bridge until their young stud goalie is ready....5 goalies in 23 games indicates that he did not get this accomplished. A little unfair as he has done a great job of getting their farm system rebuilt and on the way to getting salary cap back under control.

This^ Made the comment many times from my normal spot on the rail in the end zone that if someone handed me a controller I would probably grade out at 95-98%....can't imagine what a paid defensive coordinator saw when he broke down tape.

I like Freund but the first question in my mind was it we had a guy on staff that we felt could be up the job all this time then why at some point in the last 4 years after one of our inept offensive performances didn't Bubba say "Hey Rudy, we're gonna change things up this week, maybe give things a little different perspective and let Danny call the next game" I mean we had 20+ opportunities to try this in the last 4 years.

Well obviously it isn't a UND licensed logo so if they want to market and promote the logo independently they are free to do so and if people want to buy it they are free to do so. If enough people buy and wear it then maybe it becomes the unofficial logo....could be worse, see Dartmouth(Keggy the Keg)

Somehow NDSU used to figure out how to even put King Frazier, Bruce Anderson, and Chase Morlock on the field at the same time. I couldn't believe we had no sets with JJ at full back, Brady at tailback and Santiago in the slot. I know Santiago was injured some this year but rather than platooning him and Brady I think Santiago commands so much attention from a defense that he should be on the field for 80% of the snaps even if he isn't lined up behind the QB for most of the snaps. Just a waste of and poor use of the talent that we do have.

Did UND I have watch party today? Serious question because despite our team demonstrating over the last 2-3 weeks that we don't want to be in the playoffs we we're still right on the bubble of making it which show just how bad FCS football is this year.

I originally had seats in 110 for a couple years and then switched to 106....would trade for identical seats in 111 or 114 if I had to but I wouldn't trade them for any other seats in the arena unless they were the Club Seats on the bar rail for same price.
