Not to mention, the guys who rank the players will change their ratings....for example, if a 2 star recruit in the minds of the recruiting service gets an offer from a Duke or Kentucky, now all of a sudden he is a 4 star.

Really more concerned about conference performance in a 1 bid league. Do I want us to have a signature win...sure Would 20 wins be nice....sure Should have added, no less than reaching semi-finals in Big Sky tournament. In a round about way, my expectation is 18-19 wins at the end of the regular season so minimum expectations in the Big Sky tournament put us at 20+

I am not as focused on top 2 or top 3 this season as with the bottom of the league being down this year the records could be top heavy, so if we go 12-6 and that puts us in 4th---so be it. I do expect and I would hope the Athletic Department has the following expectations for basketball this season....not saying you have to check them all off but if a couple are missed, some others better not be. Big Sky Tournament Champions AND/OR Big Sky Regular Season Champions 13-5 or 12-6 in league at worst....take care of business at home and should beat SUU, NAU, and Idaho State anywhere you play them. Pick up another road win or 2 against the other 4(Montana, Montana St., Weber, UNC) 9-0 or 8-1 at home. Team is ready and prepared to play every night.

Correct. Michigan would have been the next logical choice from the Big 10. They really should just ask Vegas who should be in.

This^^^ I was looking forward to watching the game last night and even though my ears were bleeding from the announcer not even knowing which players were which or sometimes even what team they were on, I struggled through the first half and even had my hopes up when we cut the lead to 12 and then the feed started cutting in and out and they hit a couple 3's to stretch it to 21 and I gave up.

It has to be NCAA tournament or bust this season for Jones. I don't know that firing a coach during the season is very productive, however if this team has another effort like last night where they look totally unprepared and not ready to play and compete then I wouldn't see making that move as counter productive either.

They looked like they took a bus from Grand Forks to Portland and had 5 minutes to get loose. How can you not be ready to start off the conference season
