We are hanging in on the boards. It's the 7 or 8 extra possessions we have given Iowa by not taking care of the ball and the fact that turnovers often lead to an advantage going the other way. It would be one thing if most of our 12 turnovers were forced but 6 or 7 would have happened in a walk through with no defense on the court.

The biggest benefit for UND would be if Zimmerman came in and established himself as at least 1B which would allow UND to give Keaton the green light to run when the option is there more often as it was obvious they had him on a short leash this season due to the lack of a back-up qb they were confident in.

Well if the game is over then we could have quit pressing and fouling trying to extend the game as well.

Kind of hard to break that down since guys play against other teams top lines and obviously play different amount of minutes. also when you have outscored teams 40-21 5 on 5 this year there really isn't much wrong when we are 5 on 5. Our D-men +/- are currently... Tucker P. +9 Christian W. +7 Hayden S. +6 Gage A. +6 Casey J. +3 Andrew P. +1 Colton P. -1 We only have 3 forwards with negative numbers Trevor O. -5 Johnny S. -1 Mike G. -1 Special teams are obviously where we are having issues currently. We have 14 power play goals but have given up 4 shortys and we have given up 16 on the power play and have 1 shorty

The Bison player was exactly 3 yards down the field and the jacks player was about 5 yards down the field. NDSU went on to score a couple plays later...SDSU drive stalled. Winners win.

I had us at 12-6 at the break when I looked at the schedule. 5-0 start, 4-4 in next 8. 2-1 in next 3. 12-5 in second half is what I had projected....still think this a obtainable so that would have us at 21-11-3 to finish regular season.

and on a subconscious level they tend to favor the team who plays in the conference they work for in a non conference game. Gotta protect the RPI and deal with the coaches on a continuing basis. Many of these officials represent more than 1 conference and are usually part of a group of geographically related conferences. For example The Valley will join Conference USA, the Big 12, Ohio Valley and Southland conferences in the Men’s Basketball Officiating Consortium beginning with the 2016-17 season. ....no big deal if they piss off a Big Sky coach. and likewise The Pac-12, Mountain West, Big West, West Coast and Western Athletic Conferences are further expanding their men’s basketball officiating consortium to include the Big Sky Conference for the 2016-17 season.

I think we will find carries for him, whether that means we use Santiago more in the slot and on jet sweeps and getting him the ball in space instead of running him between the tackles or if we use JJ like NDSU uses Morlock

If you go into a non conference game against a higher ranked or more "esteemed" conference and expect to get a fair shake then you haven't been paying attention. Been several examples this year of games being called in a one sided manner to favor the "known" team or conference....did nobody see the FGCU vs. Michigan St. reffing debacle?

I like what Murray has done at Western Michigan and believe he played a style of hockey with the hand he had when he got there and has now built his program to play the style he prefers. Great coach! Had a great time at the St. Paul regional a few years back. Had a beer or six with Brian Tulik, Bob D'Amelio, and the other guys name escapes me. I have to make a trip to Kalamazoo for a series sometime and of course Bell's Brewery! It seemed like WMU was a home for quite a few Fargo Force players so it was fun to keep track of how they developed(Fleming, Goff, Dienes, Hargrove(one of my favorite Force players)). Obviously kept on eye on Cichy after he left UND. Has McKee been injured this year or just not playing? I know if a skirmish breaks out and he is on the ice the best advice would be to stay as far away from him as possible.
